Unmodded 07/08 Base tail lights are my favourite for WDP!

Decided to change things up a bit with my plastidipped grill yesterday. I peeled it all off and redid it, but this time I covered the entire thing. I really like it. Now I just need to get some plastidip glossifier for it so it goes with the roof.
Also dipped the rear emblem and trim piece. Me likey.
Eventually, I want to get everything actually painted gloss black. This was good in case I hated it though.

I probably even masked off more than necessary. That's kind of the whole point of plastidip (not having to worry about overspray and stuff). Definitely leave like an inch or so of gap at least like I did. This makes it so much easier to peel off and it leaves a perfect edge.

Well I did my rims and the front area with black plastidip and the glossifier and it looks good im not gonna lie, it leaves a shine but not like the clear you get from getting it professionally done but its still good.

Nice! If I can find some in-store somewhere I'll do it, but if not I'll just wait until I get it painted.

Awwwww Yeah!
My blacked out headlights just showed up in the mail today (courtesy of JnC) and they are absolutely FLAWLESS! I am extremely impressed with his work. Seriously, they look OEM. Can't wait to get these installed!

Update!
On Monday I started to install my new headlights (I had been waiting for the new gaskets to come in). It was pretty painless and I could've finished it up that night for sure. BUT, when I was removing the passenger side light I found all kinds of things missing. There is supposed to be this big bracket that screws into the HID ballast, and then mounts to the car body with two 10mm bolts. That bracket was nowhere to be found, and the HID ballast was only being held in by 1 screw instead of 3. It was just hanging there. No idea what happened to it. Also, after I got that headlight out, i found that there was no rubber grommet/seal going around the fog bulb housing. There was no way that I was going to install my brand new lights without all the proper hardware. So I ordered the parts that night and they should be here Tuesday. I did get the driver side light completely installed and it looks SO SICK!
Since the car is just sitting in my barn with the bumper off, I figured this would be the perfect time to get my grill and some other pieces painted gloss black to match the headlights. I still don't know where I want to get it done, but hopefully will be able to find a place before the light parts come in. I have all the pieces that need painted removed from the car and bumper except for the grill piece that's connected to the bumper and the trim piece on the hood. Two of the bolts are stripped on the hood trim and I can't figure out how to get it off. I have read about other people that painted the grill, and some have had problems with it chipping and/or flaking. What's the best way to prevent this (Besides not painting it)? Maybe wrapping it in clear vinyl after it's painted?
I got 15mm and 20mm wheel spacers (front and rear respectively). I'm guessing my rear fenders will need to be rolled whenever I get these installed, but I needed them BAD. Also got some black lug nuts to replace the factory chrome ones. I'm on a quest to get rid of any and all chrome on my vehicle. Maybe I'll get my center caps painted with the grill.
JnC sent me pictures of my completed taillights. There are no words...
Oh, and one last thing. Gotta represent yo!

On the road again!
I'm finally getting around to updating my thread. Been super busy with my car and other stuff too. I hadn't driven it in two weeks.
1.Headlights and Grill/Trim Pieces
My parts came in for the headlights, so I was able to get those installed. And after much research, I've decided NOT to get the grill and trim pieces painted black. I read about numerous people having it chip and look terrible after only a year, even with a professional paint job on it. I was never displeased with the plastidip, I just felt like I should have a more permanent solution and I also wanted it glossy. But I found that plastidip makes a glossifier, so I ordered some of that. It's been on backorder for over a week but should arrive Monday. It's gonna look really good once I have the grill blacked out again to compliment the headlights.
2. Got my taillights installed.
3. I installed Cree reverse bulbs and also a tailgater switch to go along with them.
Feels so good to have my car on the road again!
