Can anybody tell me where I could find plastidip in Ottawa?
Thinking about dipping my winter rims black so would also appreciate any experience about how the dip holds up in our winters.

Yeah, Nextmod has em for $20 a can.

Plasti-dip holds up well during the winter from what I've seen.

Holds up well but looks like garbage after the salt gets to it

Clear coat it or spray gloss black over it to keep it looking nice

larger and online distributors have larger orders, thus making their prices cheaper. smaller business' don't order in huge amounts, plus shipping duties etc.
im not trying to argue with you, but you really should learn a little something on business before you call out names and claiming they're "ripping people off".

again, like i said.. you don't have to shop there if you don't want to. you can drive to the states and with these gas prices is it also worth it?

1st u should read my posts b4 replying it was cruzenTL who said he drives to the states not me! N 2nd its not my problem nextmods has so much overhead they charge more. I pay and if i can get it cheaper, why wouldnt i want to help fellow tuners to save money n your right i dont have to shop ther and if people want to spend more for the same product i cam only state my opinion

I'm only doing the side facing the rear, so worse case is the plasti-dip melts off, although very unlikely.
I'd just scrape off the mess and apply high heat paint. No big deal, and nothing to cry about.
