Folks, you might see me around in my TL =)

I'll be driving the TL around here during the summer.

That being said, lets make the meet happen. I'll be there with the TL.

Lets make the meet happen soon, because the roads here are so bad and I'm driving UNDER the speed limit due to it.

I'll be driving it back to GTA as soon as I can and putting it in the garage.

I don't get how you guys can drive around.

I don't know where you're driving but I drive well over the speed limit and don't have any issues. There are some bad spots on Quebec side but even there I can do the speed limit and over.

I was just driving from Johnston road to Princess auto via Conroy and Walkley. Last night I was driving down bank street from Somerset to Johnston and it was horrible, and I was even going under the speed limit!

On another note, does any one have time to help me with a rear brake problem?
It's making nasty squealing noises constantly.

Or can anyone recommend me a good shop to go to, but cheap? And relatively close to South Keys area?

I'm a new driver in Ottawa. I've been taking buses everywhere last year.
Honestly right now, I'm fine with leaving it parked and taking the buses places.

I plan on taking Airport Parkway to school, but I need my rear brake fixed first

Happened on my drive to Ottawa.

Plenty of meat left on them!

Worst of all I have NO tools to work on it!!

Brakes are so easy too, just bolts for the caliper.
I can't even check it out. All I can do is just undo the lugs to take off the wheel, which wouldn't do much.

I DO NOT plan to pay someone 70/hr to do something that's so easy like a brake job.

Someone with tools contact me please lol

So, I spoke to the Nextmod crew and they said any Sunday because the plaza is closed off so we can park anywhere we desire.
That or any weekday after 6pm. Let me know what you guys want to do and I'll pass on the word to them.

P.S Im posting from Nextmod right now, hehe.

I know I'm late but I'd be up for that. Kyle is a good buddy of mine and if we know ahead of time we can get a few of the guys from Quebec TL crew to come along for the ride. Not many english speaking fellows in the crew but I'm sure they'd still be willing to make the drive.

I'm down for June 2nd.

Plenty of notice time.

We're not planning to host a conference event or anything so let's just make it happen and get together for the meet.

I can't make it that weekend, I'll be in Toronto for Sensation. But don't let me ruin a meet, you guys can still go, I'll leave my car with the owners there, haha.

Will also be at the Stretch and Poke show in Brampton Toronto this weekend (May 24).

I also work the weekend of the 1st of June. I wonder if we can do a coffee meet at any of the Timmy's this weekend. Just a quick meet to say hello and introduce each other. I know people will say its short notice but it does not have to be anything special. Just a spontaneous thing. We can do it at any time between 7-9pm this Friday or Sat. or Sunday whatever works with most of the people. Nothing special, come have a coffee, say hi and go home. We used to do it every Sunday when I was in Mazda club back in the days and had people show up all the time. I don't know why I can't get local guys from this forum to start doing it for 3 years now.

^ Sigh, again I'll be in Toronto for the Stretch and Poke show.
But my car will be at the Silver City for the Fast6 premier along with the rest of the Nextmod crew.

I'm down to meet up with whoever wants to come out this Sunday.
Hopefully I'll have my brake problems fixed with my new Brakemotive pads and rotors on.

Does anyone know of a coin wash (like the 3$ for 5 minutes) near or in South Keys area?

I haven't driven around much (obviously due to brakes problem), but once I'm back on the road I badly need to wash my car, and I am NOT looking to go through an automatic car wash.

Man that address is for Procare Auto. It's down the road from me.

I booked an appointment and went there to get the guy to check out if my rear caliper was seized, which takes 2 minutes and he doesn't have time to do it and just told me he can't help me. Ughhhhhh

Anyone have an honest mechanic in my area?

I called Motor Medic to see if he can check out my caliper and he basically said he can't help me. I understand if they're booked up, but at least give me a time that they're available at instead of telling me they can't help me.
