How long are your exhaust tips? The ones I have seen on Ebay are 11 1/2 inches. Did you cut yours down?

The tips were the same size. I had them cut down a good bit (all the way to the bend area) and then they welded the back of the tip onto the muffler itself vs. the tip on the muffler.

I've literally looked through all the pages in this thread. I have to say, this is one of the best 4G TL's I've seen on Acurazine. I love the drop and the black theme. I'm not really a fan of too much chrome either, lol.

It's criminal how good your ride looks. I'm a 2G guy, but thought I'd drop in and see what's going on with the current gen. I wasn't really sold on the new design, but some of the rides (yours most of all) have convinced me with the right mods the 4G can be insanely nice.

Well done. You're an ambassador to current gen TLs. I can't even imagine how good she looks in person.

I really appreciate the complements man! When I bought the car initially I had a little buyers remorse but once I saw the potential I knew I could work with it. The 4G has a lot of potential. I look forward to seeing more people come over to the 4G and seeing what people to do.

you lower your car at all??

Yes, I used TEIN S tech Spring. Lowers it down about 1.6 inches. I think in the last pic you can see some of the fender since its blending in with the black abyss. In the one below where there is a lot more light you can see that the tire actually tucks ever so slightly under the fender.

I had seriously debated going lower but I have just enough clearance to pull in and out of the driveway or other random places without scraping. I'll eventually go lower but I will more than likely do an air setup so I don't have to worry about tearing up the front lip.

what are the sizes and offsets for your rims?

9 in the front with a 35 offset and 10.5 in rear with a 42 offset.

A little question for you,how do you think the emblems and logos would look if they were color matched to the Vossen rims?

It still amazes me on how different the 4G can look with a few subtle changes like painting the beak. after looking at my before pictures I cant believe I even bought the 4G TL. Happy I did now!

Haha yea I figure if I just keep taking pictures I will eventually get the hang of it.

I color matched the rear Acura emblem but I do plan on doing the Acura and TL in the same color as the wheels. I had painted the front emblem but since part of the beak is also the wheel color it just kinda blended in so I painted it black to add a little contrast.

Having a hard time finding new things to do now though....
