Good guess. Took a while to find some that wasn't gunmetal, this roll is a bit darker.

Well it doesn't look like my vinyl project is gonna happen today, Its cold so not really ideal for messing with it. I did do a door handle and it looks awesome. Debating on painting it now....

Definitely, need to come out after you get it all on.

Yea, I decided to go ahead and pull the trigger. The TL could stand for a little more pep in its step. I think I'm going to pass on the custom exhaust for now and just stick with the Jpipe. Besides it will give me something to look forward to down the road. Not sure when its coming. Maybe I'll get an email today with tracking info. Hah you don't happen to have a lift do you? I'll probably take it up to the guys at Rainbow; I'll need them to put on my tips I got also.

Nah no lift just ramps, jacks and stands... but I do have air tool and a small tool box it's like 6 foot wide by 5 foot tall. Is it all bolt on no welding? I did a full bolt on cat back system on a vette sitting here in the driveway...

Yeah, you should definitely paint your calipers and hubs black. Or perhaps paint your calipers black and your hubs a gunmetal color similar to your rims.

Of course this is assuming you're not going the BBK route.

Looking good though man!

Woohoo, quick shipping from xlr8. Got my jpipe and my TB spacer. I also picked up some dual tips. Not decided on a custom cat back or not. I don't really want the noise. I have been debating on some borla pro xs mufflers. They are reasonably quiet but not sure if the noise is worth it.

Sooooooooooooo. being the impatient bastard that I am I promptly rushed up first thing this morning to my local muffler shop. Here's some photos of the magic happening. I didn't take any of the jpipe being installed since it wasn't really exciting.

The guys at the shop kept trying to suggest strait pipes or exhaust but I'm glad I didn't do it. The jpipe added a nice little pur but nothing really that noticeable (besides the vibration from the cross member). I'll take some pics tonight if I make it home before dark.

I like them! They are from Excelerate (Rotors, Pads and SS Brake Lines). Very grippy and quite good looking might I add!

i am curious as to weather a j-pipe would help a fwd or is it just for sound.... i know awd should have some pull in it but not sure if a fwd auto would do much.
