I know It's an expensive option, but you can buy the OE headlights already blacked out.

I was worried about the condensation too but if you take as much time and effort sealing them as opening them you should be good. I think there is a dude jnc who does them.

Could always do a dark silver. I did mine in black base coat and used the dark silver I used on the mesh in my grill on one of the lights before I sprayed them with cbp to see what it would look like. It looked pretty good; left the front with a slightly more aggressive look without it being blacked out. I wanted the blacked out look so I finished painting it cbp. Not to sure about the angel eye though lol I guess that could be going to far too. I thought about it but just couldn't decide if it was going a bit too far. I put red and ultra violet LED's behind the projector though. They look pretty sweet when its slightly dusk and I use the running lights. I can switch back from off to red to ultraviolet. Maybe just another option. It could also look pretty awesome with both.

I have an appointment on Monday to vinyl smoke my rear lights and reflectors. Do you think that would be good for your ride as well?

I went to rainbow muffler off of Phillips. It was $300 out the door. I should have shopped around a bit more but 2 other places quoted over $500. It was funny because I dropped my car off at like 9am and they didn't finish till about 7:30pm. I went to the bay were my car was and the tech who was this Jamaican guy was like "ayy dis your car Mon?" All agitated like... said he would never do another new acura tl. After watching him struggle I was glad I didn't attempt this one on my own!

Afterwards he took me for a ride in his civic with a stage 3 clutch and some nice engine work. Was a beater but it was pretty quick. Rainbow muffler is always an interesting experience. Lol totally worth it.

LoL yeah I know it's a pain in the... Can I finish that thought on here? Gotta pull the entire rear seat and all the trim out for the rear. I just put a lift on my F150 so with the exception of the rear seat labor it's gonna be like doing my front end twice... Speaking of going for a ride I'd love to see yours in person so I can get an idea of what i'ma have to do with the set up i'm going for and maybe go for a ride in yours with the wifey. To see how she's gonna like the drop and 30 series tires... Great story on Rainbow I could hear the Jamacian guy as i read that..

Awesome ride matt.

What size tires are those? Also, did u have to roll your fenders or get a camber kit?

Thanks Captain,Tire size are as follows 225-35-20 front and 255-30-20 rear, giving a nice little stretch on the rim but nothing too extreme. No fender rolling was needed they fit like a glove. No camber kit was needed either. I thought about getting one but the wheels sit pretty flush and it rides strait. Maybe since i dropped with springs or i was just lucky.

You did go in for an alignment check after the springs went in didnt you? They are free at about any tire shop just to put it on the machine and give you the print out... I use Tires Plus on San Jose a little north of Orange Pickers... Cheapest I found on 3 year alignments and lifetime... plus they'll check it for free... some of your pics look like the rear has some negitive camber... which it'll still ride straight it'll just wear the inside of your tires super fast...

Not necessarily true, having the toe settings out of whack will cause far more tire wear than camber would. Though it drives straight and feels good, I would still consider throwing it on an alignment rack just to see where things are at.

Maybe I'll drop by and see where I'm at. At least then I could post before and after specs so people can see if its needed. Also just bought some led license plate lights and hid's for the fogs while standing in line at Disney! Gatta love smart phones. Need to get some new drl's since they don't match with the switch backs I got.

oh very true, I was more so talking about the Camber in the rear... it's visable in the pics... The toe tipically would show in a pull while driving but yeah not always.... but 100% bad on tire wear like he said...

damn im running a 235 on the front on my fwd and i hate it.. makes my steering wheel loose unlike running my stock oem 18 where my steering is stiff.

how do you like the steering so far? i hate it, im going to be upping my size to a 255/30/20 soon

There's a meet on Feb 10th off Southside. You should come and you can see how it rides. If you don't know already check out the southeast regional forum for the post.

I'm un decided about the awd fogs. I kind of like the uniqueness of the fwd ones but.... I have an addiction to spending money so I will probably do them in the future .

I had noticed my steering felt a little loose also. I didn't mind it since I don't really run my car all that hard. To me it seemed to glide a bit more when changing lanes if that makes sense.. Hard to describe just seems like it takes less effort to turn. Maybe it feels a bit smoother but then again the tires are new and my oems could have probably been replaced soon since they were getting near the end of their life.

Awesome that it fit great.

I'm considering a similar setup, 245/35/20 in front and 275/30/20 in rear but not sure if if it will fit as good without fender roll and camber kit. I prefer the stiff steering so 225 up front may not be ideal for me.

Yours looks amazing though. Did you consider other sizes before you pulled the trigger?

Thanks man! I would give it maybe a 5 if you have another person. It would be pretty difficult without help. You have to use a little bit of heat from a blow dryer and also stretch it a bit to get it to wrap without bubbles or having it bunch up in the corners.

Thanks! Definitely have some plans. Few more exterior things then... who knows maybe I'll tackle some engine mods; although the cost vs. reward doesn't seem worth it.
