I have TEIN SS Coilovers now. They ride pretty smooth and I have mine on the hardest settings. They would probably feel better than stock is I softened them a bit.

Reflectors
Hey matt, just wondering if you had any plans for those reflectors on the rear bumper. Maybe youre a fan of them, but me, not so much. I'm thinking about getting a TL but that ONE thing is bothersome. Just wondering if you had any plans for them or were just gonna leave it be...
Thanks
Thanks

I had used nightshades and tinted them black. Recently I picked up a set of 2014 taillights (I noticed that the surround area is a darker red vs. the pinkish color that the 2012-13 had, or maybe it just fades that color) and then removed the nightshades from the reflectors. To me I don't mind them too much, the kind of break up the rear a bit. No real plans though they don't bother me too much. Not as much as the long ass front blinkers.
Thank you! Not sure, I'm at the point now where if I pick up new wheels I'll keep the car for another year or so. If not I'll probably pick up something else but what I have no clue. So many options.

I have ran 2 setups.
setup 1) the front were 225/35/20 with the rear tires at 255/30/20, this will allow you the most clearance when lowering. You likely would not need to roll fenders with a moderate drop.
setup 2) the front at 245/35/20 and the rear at 275/30/20, this provides less stretch and more tire but you will definitely need to roll your rear fenders and depending on how low you go maybe your fronts. If I did it over again I would stick with the rear size but would do 235/35/20 for the front.

Im asking because i bought some vossen wheels from some one to put on my 09 tl but the front tires are 245/30/20 and the rear are 285/30/20 . The rear ones rub with fender on dips. Do u recommend me change the tires to.your set up ?

I'm not sure what your goals are but if you want to slam the car and really have a "Stanced" look then go with the 255's. If you want a happy medium go with the 275's. The front should really be a 245/35/20 but it should be ok with what you got. Next time you need to get new tires maybe get a 235/35/20. The 285's are pretty big but if you roll the fenders they may be fine, I think a 275 would maybe reduce the rubbing and look better overall.

Damn your thread fell off to page 2... guess i'll bump it one time... the 235/35-275/30 is the mildest stretch you can go and lower/ slam with 9's and 10.5's @ +35 +42.... if you want to look more aggressive go with the 225/35 255/30 set up... is that what you first set was Matt? 285/30's I think will rub even with a decent roll in the rear... We ran 285/25's for a while which was fine... but the 285/30 will prolly be to much without a camber kit slammed... Matt's 275/30's are less than a piece of cardboard from rubbing... but just lowered can prolly get away with the 285/30's

Still rocking the CV3's but I bought this other set of CV7's too. Here is a video to give some of you people an idea on how the more aggressive offset looks. These wheels are 9" +35 offset and 10.5 +27 offset. Undecided on what set I will ultimately keep.
