ive installed total of 3 members 4g lip kits already.. each time i am getting faster and faster.. last one i did took me about 3hr and 30 mins for the whole kit.
for the 09-11 rear, i dont drill holes.. i just blue tape mask it and use a dremel.. much faster.. takes about 5 mins each side to cut and trim. then another 5 to install the each side of the rear lips.
cant wait for the results.. you should get the headlights painted.. although i dont have my headlights painted yet.. i like to see it

yea i thought about side moldings.. but i like that clean look of the doors.. not my cup of tea after i did a few searches up google images when i was initially looking at it when i picked up the car back in 2010..
if your going to offer to install kits.. invest in a dremel.. the one from harbor freight works.. make sure you get metal cutting blades and some protective eye ware.

They aren't my favorite either but the parking lot at her work holds like 5500 cars with 6000 employees so there's never anywhere to park without morons right next to her that just fling their doors open. So I'm trying to save the 4g from all the door dings the 3g got when she had it.
Here's some pics from todays little adventure... Will post some of the finished product when I get the front bumper back.

it's like 8-10 pages... Quick rendition is remove rear bumper (6 Screws, two push pins, Then pull off the snap n pops), drill "20" 10mm holes (most premarked) there's an update with a template for four of them. Cut out the areas around the exhaust on both sides, file the burr's off, screw on two mounting brackets, Clean with Rubbing Achohol, Place on the lip kit pull the zip ties tight, Install 8 or so bolts leave loose, reinstall bumper tighten up the bolts you left loose, tighten up the screws on the bumper, put in the two push pins on the bottom. Done...

Okay finally got the front bumper back, put the front lip on and reinstalled... here's the finished product with her vision of the Nexson Grille. Just a couple of quick shots I popped off in the driveway... will go do an actual shoot when the pollen dies down... it's crazy in FL right now everything is yellow. Man where the light is hitting that bumper it makes the color match way off it's no where near that in person...

Yeah it was fun you did the simple one first... took me a while the first time but the next one I do I'd say prolly 45 minutes maybe an hour to do the rear section now that i've done it and figured out the do's and dont's. Lemme know when you're ready I'll give you a hand... Oh and when you go to do your sides get me to show you the trick that'll save you an hour of scratching your head going wtf :/

there is really no trick, all you do is take off all the bolts and slide it. you kind of have to hit it with your hand a few times to get it off..
but i guess the trick is to have two people.. one hitting the sideskirts to the direction it slides off while the other is pulling it.. i got it off in like 10 secs...
i think the tricky part is that stupid plastic clear clip that you have to take off at the rear door. that took me 10 mins to take off as i didnt want to break the clip.. but i didnt have the right clip tool to take it off..

Once you get all the bolts out open the rear door ball up your fist and smack the skirt where it turns up in the back of the rear door about three good pops and it'll fall right off... I pulled and pryed and couldn't get those slide rivits to budge for ever till i figured out where to smack it.
Harbor Freight they have the entire kit of pullers for like 8 bucks came with like 5 tools... it's like a putty knife with a slot in the center to slide under that pin... and the other black pins use a flat head I pulled out my mac push pin puller I use on sportbikes and it mangled the pins. Went to a flat head and worked like a champ...

So talking apples to apples there... an Inch is 25.4mm so you're +12's on a 9.5 sits about where a +37/+38 on a 10.5 would right? (Speaking only of the outer lip) So you're showing about the same depth on the face as everyone running 10.5's +42 just loosing an inch on the backside? or is my math flawed?
I believe he's already way past that... post #71

are you planning to run a square set or a staggered set?
i would do it for the rear.. my fronts are maxed out.. fronts are rolled and pulled already.. rears are shaved already so i have some room to work with..
