This is getting ridiculous. It's been over 3 months with nothing. Not even a response. I already have my full exhaust setup completed but for the folks who don't, this is torture. I would like to know what this is also just because it's nice to know companies are still working on parts for us. Come on, Marcus.

I didn't see your post above mine lol

You install the j-pipe and test pipe yet?

V2-R should be a great product! Can't wait for the update.

The posts here are very entertaining to read Honestly I know it takes a while but I am a no-BS kinda guy when it comes to product development. And I truly feel what I have planned will be the best ever J-pipe available or I simply will kill the project. As it is you can currently get an ATLP V2 j-pipe with an ATLP Race pipe for $499 shipped, and this combo is essentially the same performance as what is available from RV6 or XLR8 (also available on heeltoeauto.com)...so maybe consider this if you really can't wait and want the legendary Heeltoe service.

Yes, we are getting more (only a FEW) in about 2 weeks.

More like R&D. I have to make a serious time and money investment here. Multiple prototypes have to be made, and we are actually dyno-testing parts as well. So, it WILL take time. And I WON'T be rushed.

That looks like a J-pipe that deletes the 3rd cat. So, generally speaking, yes. But it will be different. We already offer this in the combo mentioned above with the j-pipe/race pipe combo. At least with the ATLP option you can toss the stock cat back in if you want!

Your pipe may have better gains, may be the same thing - no one knows.

Can you provide an update? Otherwise I'm going in on Richie's sale.

I can't stop you from buying other parts and am not even going to try. My goal with this part is not going to be the most popular, the cheapest, or the flashiest. We want to be the BEST one. It will take as long as it takes. My general target? I am not of liberty to say. We all know projects can take a long time but I do want to get this part out as soon as possible.

What I can say is, my HOPE is that there will be an influx of j-pipes on the used market when we do launch. If that doesn't happen, well, I guess I didn't do my job. This thread was meant to be a tease for sure. And I think I got you guys going pretty good. But impatience is getting the better of some of you, I can see. We've made no promises in terms of time, and will not until we know we can meet them.

I am so happy that you all are pleased with what we are doing in terms of customer service. The other venders here are great competition to be sure...we like to think we are the BEST.

Dear Marcus,
F*ck you, in only the most endearing way.

Looks like I'll have to wait until you've nailed it down. Since I'll be waiting until your version is available, this will be PCD compatable, yes?

Looking forward to the launch, I'll be lurking this thread until then!

Thanks for replying Marcus. I know you own a business, so my apologies for letting the impatience get the best of me. I do have one question. Will there be an option at all for a 3" collector on this Jpipe?

I am not specifically "for" deleting cats. It's a pita. Maybe my living in California biases things...anyway, RV6 PCDs seem pretty nice and I don't see the point in re-inventing such a small part and reducing my potential market for the V2-R by turning off people who already have them.

It would be different I agree, but we think the heart of the car's power is in the j-pipe and beyond.

^^^ I know what you mean...totally understandable....

but from a customer standpoint, i dont mind buying 1 thing which replaces everything....eliminates the changes of exhaust leaks/etc/etc....

Its the same reason why newer Jpipes are eliminating 3rd cat....there was a perfectly functional test pipe, but incorporating that opened couple options

I think Rodney from JnR recently put a custom "header" if you will on his car....this combines Precats/Jpipe/3rd Cat in 1 equipment....I have no idea if he will get them manufactured.

Make sense.

Nevertheless, still curious as to what the product "V2-R" gonna be.

Having to swap a J-pipe out for smogging is a lot easier than swapping out the cat deletes. Also the 3rd cat has no sensors on it making it a little more worry free.

Anyway, we think we've got some nice touches to put in on the j-pipe...
