Yea, you don't have to get expensive tires. As long as they are drivable.

riicky - nice to meet you! (:

^ OEM bumpers never come painted. I don't have any experience with fixing paint scratches. Is the scratch pretty deep or it can be buffed out?

I want to open mine up so I can either remove that amber chunk or wrap it in some 3M CF vinyl.

Lmao my gf thinks it's funny how your gf lives near her, and we both live near each other. She found it really weird when I noticed Raj in his tsx and tried to wave to him. I think she felt embarassed to be with me lolol.
hahaha thats funny.. my buddy who was with me even said "yo raj some guy is waving at you.. i was like who, hes like the guy infront of us, in the tl.. do you know him.. im like nope.. maybe he just wants to show some acura love... hahaha and then the awkward silence and weird look.. :p

we just love cars that much i guess

I think I was contacting ABC mufflers about creating a custom exhaust for my TL and it was something like 600$ for a full cat back which is pretty cheap. I hear good things about it from 780 members too

Haha thanks Raj. Your car would be complete if you drop it. Is it just me or does the TSX look like it rides higher than a TL?

Myron I'll trade you ALL my detailing supplies for those wheels lololol.

I got my Cree LED reverse lights in the mail last night. I can't wait to install those. They're supposed to give some decent light output in comparison to HID reverse lights. Myron do you remember where you got the CCFL bulbs for the license plate? I figure I might as well get those since they're brighter and last longer, opposed to my leds I have.

Tony for scratches, someone mentioned Mr. Dent (780 993 3687) at #67, 4003 -98 Street on 780tuners. I don't know how good they are but it might be worth looking into. I might go there to get a quote on the damage I have on my rear bumper and quarter panel.

Maybe see if the seller can ship via USPS. Duty usually is non-existent when you go with that carrier. They are far more Canadian friendly than other companies like UPS or Purolator.

When you run your finger over the scratches, does it catch your nail?

If you're willing to wait until you're back in Edmonton, I can probably help you remove those scratches. I have an arsenal of detailing supplies. Buying a random scratch removal product may end up doing more harm than good.

Where are you living right now?

Haha I would have no use for it as I don't know anything about detailing. And I ordered my CCFL from ebay I think. Be careful wiring it, I just used electrical tape to connect the wires and they came apart so I had to re do it.

on the side note, me, ricky and arthur installed Arthur's lipkit today and WOW, his car is looking amazing with the kit, lowered and the wheels, just came together so nicely. Hopefully he installs that exhaust today too so the car is complete.

Oh that is one sexy WDP. Good job! So with three guys, how long did it take to install the a-spec kit? Any troubles cutting up the rear bumper with the dremel? Did you get the exhaust installed at a shop?

Lol maybe I'll spot you in the southside one of these days. I go to Riverbend Square every now and then with the gf or fill up gas at Shell.

it took us 5.5 hours because there was a lot of cutting and fitting on the back bumper and figuring out how to take the sides off too but now it would take me half the time.

Myron and I did the front lip for about an hour, then Ricky showed up when we were trying to figure out how to do the sides. We didn't know how to take them off the sides so it took us probably an hour too. We did the rear skirt for at least three hours I believe, it was a little bit tricky because we had to measure the part that needed to be cut a couple of times just to be sure. The dremel kit did it job properly, Myron did the cutting and his face was covered of plastic debris. lol. My brother and I did the exhaust, it took us about two hours, we had trouble jacking up the car high enough to be able to work underneath.

Lol I'll probably see you right away knowing that you have a blue tl-s, I think they are pretty rare in edm.

Thanks! I got it from a vendor here, 830$ shipped (duties and brokerage are already included) Ricky told me there is a group buy going on right now and they are 750$. They are pretty cheap compared to the stealership price. Oh, they come painted too!

Yeah I've seen only a couple KBP TL-S's in the city. Definitely more NBP and WDP TL-S's around town.

Lol I know who to hit up if I ever get an a-spec kit But I'd have to get over the tl-s front lip. Maybe I need to see it in person, but in pictures it flares out a bit too much.

yea I am not feeling the type-s lip kit up front either, it just looks HUGE to me. Get the base and then custom fit it and paint it KBP. You'd be the first man.

So Ricky told me that there is a chance that the base 07 lower grills for fog lights might be able to fit in the 04-06 with some trimming. I am gonna be on the luck out for this and update you guys if I pull the trigger on this. It might be a good solution for us non-fog light guys.

Myron, do it! :P

Vincent, I was just going to tell you guys about this meet. I think all of us should go there and represent the TL/TSX community.

Also, I just finished changing my spacers at the back (5mm less), no more rubbing issues.

yea i am down for that meet too.
I am getting 2 tires this week and then rims are probably gonna go on a week after that. Then I am gonna play with the spacers and all to see if I can run 20mm in the back and how much the fenders have to be rolled. I might just do the rear and run the 15mm back there and leave the front alone. Or roll the front and run 10mm in the front. I have 10,15, and 20mm spacers so I can play around with it.
