I'm going to drive later with my Nitto Invo winter tires. lol

Darkness, have you tried hondatoy.com? Last time I talked to them, they told me I have to get the whole front end when I was looking for a front lip for my accord last year. They have a tl-s with a front bumper. http://hondatoy.partsbazaar.ca/produ...-2008-Acura-TL

^ did you check part yards? Black gold and hondatoy? they had a few type-s around but I am not sure about the bumpers. The thing is that they overcharge you for used parts. So it might be easier to get them from ebay or somewhere in US

I haven't been outside today so I don't know the condition of the roads at the moment. Been in the office all day, didn't wanna go outside. I am picking up 2 pirelli tires after work to go on those shines. Next weekend I should have them on the car if everything works out.

Wow looks like that TL-S got t-boned badly. The front bumper looks in tact, same with the gas door lol. The wheels look fine too, the front right just has a flat.

I guess it's useful I still have my winters on. But I'm hibernating at home today so it doesn't even make a difference. Watch tommorow the snow is all gone when I drive. Weeeeeeee.

I got stuck in the work parking lot haha But then I realized that my hand brake was engaged and then when I released it, the brakes froze. So my cat wasn't moving anywhere for a while. 2 min after they released and it was all good

I have a friend at Black gold, he said they dont got anything TL wise Shipping from the US for a bumper is expensive.

They are idiots then. I called them to ask if I can buy the front bumper because I wanted to do the front type-s conversion before and they told me that they only wanted to sell the whole front clip together. And now no one got to use it haha

I talked to someone on 780 that works there too, might be your buddy. I was asking him about the headliner from a type-s but they wanted 300$ for it and I didn't wanna pay that much. And all the other places didn't wanna sell me the headliner.

nah i don't think i will drop it. i just had a cb7 slammed on ff1 before this and i really hated driving it after lowering it. the roads are crap in this city plus the speed bumps are massive. had to replace the rad twice, plus the oil pan and after 1 year the rest of the suspension started giving out. i was actually looking at an 03 mdx before i found my tl. 4x4 stance forever!

Welcome Mike! Good looking csx. I really like the redesigned front grill.

Lol Arthur next time you saw the TL with ATLP leave a note on the windshield and tell the owner to join acurazine

Yeah I installed those cree reverse leds last week. Definitely adds a nice touch to the car. Major improvement over the stock bulbs. Now the picture is even clearer from the back-up camera. I put in some leds for the license plate while I was at it. I'll try to get some pictures next week

So what's everyone up to? Been dead in this section lately. You guys busy or just cooled off from the cars? haha jk I know that can't happen. I am still trying to do my timing belt. I got the tool I needed from Sanjay (thanks by the way) but my mechanic bailed on me last night due to personal problems. So today I hope it's gonna get done. Also this weekend is the Easter weekend so I don't think that I will be mounting my wheels and tires :-( but might do it some time during next week and I will take some pics to show you guys. end rant

Haha. I've been pretty busy lately. I've been thinking of what mod should I do next, maybe the fog lights retro, or the roof spoiler but I don't think the 3M adhesive will hold during winter. Possibilities are endless. lol Tomorrow, my friend will do a simple shoot for my car. Do you guys recommend any places(preferably south side)?

Mike, you need to clean your CSX, we only have a couple of months to enjoy this weather

yea 3M won't hold that thing is place. People use some thing that never comes off, just look in the roof spoiler threads, I ma not sure what it's called. Fog lights would be nice. You can always come use the dremmel if you need to
I just got slapped with a HUGE lawyer bill so my modding is done, might even have to sell the car this summer and get some beater just to get me around.

Whoa that lawyer stuff sounds super cereal. That would suck if you have to sell off the TL.

I've been studying endlessly for these finals. I'm free as of next Tuesday. I can't wait...
After finals I'll finally be able to do stuff with my car. As long as we don't have any more random snow falls, I'll be able to put my detailing equipment to use.

Yea man, lets just say that I could get a low km type-s and slam it with some sick wheels for how much money I have to give to this guy. No jail > car

I am praying there is no more snow coming up. And can't wait for you to put that detailing equipment to use haha Got any more stuff?

@mike, lol. I stared at your car for a bit and noticed that she is a bit dirty. My 'friend' gave me that plush toy. Haha. I used to have an Asimo plush toy too. What present? A bird poop?

@myron, that sucks, just sell the 2G TL :P i'll do more research about the fog light mod and maybe i'll borrow it someday.

@vincent, where did you get your detailing stuff? Myron told me you have tons. lol

I love how this thread is alive again. lol
