ok my thoughts or suggestions.....leave the red intake, polish your throttle body, paint the "A" symbol and raised 3.2 VTECH lettering with red engine paint. it would flow really good with the read intake, and if your RV6 bar had the engraved "RV6" letters red it would all tie in. then get a billet oil cap. oh and remove that carpet thing from the underside of the hood. ive had mine off for years and it wont affect anything. i could think of a hundred other things to do but im insane.
happy modding.

Thanks guys!
It's called hydrodipping.
If I understand the process correctly it's a special piece of vinyl which is set on top of water. They spray some sort of activator on the vinyl which makes it separate from the paper backing. Then they push the piece over the vinyl slowly and the vinyl adheres to the piece. Pretty cool shit. It can be done with pretty much any pattern. Here's a sample of the process done on a motorcycle helmet:

Here's the website that did mine. You can see all of the different patterns available:

I want to get the intake done a dark color. Everything else on my car is white/black/gunmetal, so pretty much any color besides red will look better

What types of paint does everyone like? I love engine enamel. very easy to spray, heat resistent and can be polished. Im picking up some tonight to start my bay. If i could aford it I would either do hydro dip or a local place here does chrome paint. But in colors not just basic. sacchromepaint.net i have them doing a set of pt cruiser bumper for a customer at my shop. Really want to see the finished product.
