Thx guys......as VQPower37 said suspension and wheels.....probably in that order.

Would like A-Spec suspension (don't want too much of a drop).

Also would like silver 19-inch wheels (to keep somewhat close to a factory look).

Looks great so far... huge change....drop it so that you have a 1/2 to 3/4 inch gap front / back and with...gunmetal A-Spec wheels that would be tight.

Are you gonna mod the front or rear lamps?

Aspec is a great suspension set up for a minimal drop of .5 to .75 inches. If you want 19" rims however, i think that it might not fit well and the car will look a little bit high. If you truly want 10", maybe Tein SS is in order to make the car look right - Itll give you 1.5".

Cuz i wanted a very minimal drop, i went with A-Spec, and with 18" rims on a 235/40 tire (so the rim doesnt look so small..but less protection ).

I love the progression you got going so far. Its very tasteful. Mee likey . Keep up the good work!

^^^Glad i could help...

BTW, It's a two-tone black grill. The outside part which is usually shiney silver is now NBP and the inside part which is usually grey is now flat black. I started by painting the whole thing NBP but then went to flat inside which makes it pop a bit more....thx

^^^Thx.....I was thinking of doing the front lights something like these:

(Free plug to the owners of these fine cars below)

As for the rear lights i am still debating the Type-S tail lights.

^^^^Your comment about the suspension makes alot of sense. You might have just sold me on the A-Spec suspension with 18" wheels with low-profile tires so the rims looks bigger....thx

************************************************** *****
I'll tell you what, when i finally round up the $$$'s to get the wheels it will take me a long time to pick the right ones. I am REAL picky for rims. Since my car came with the tan interior i think it has a little more of the luxury look than the modded sport look. For example, I think Anthracite Metallic TL's with the black interior look better with the modded sport look than mine (hope my explanation makes sense). Therefore when i pick the wheels i will probably go with silver colored or silver metal finish rims....probably five spoke.

In the end I would like to mod my car in a way that non-TL experts look at it and say "is this a special edition TL that Acura came out with?"....subtle hotness is my goal.

Those headlights are SICK! That changes the whole front of the car

Some TL-S side markers and possibly the tails would tie the whole "black" theme in as well

Wow, that looks great. As mentioned, the lights really complement the front grille. Black is such a great color when its clean. I had a black 86 Grand Prix, but it can be quite the love/hate thing!

Just dropped it with ASPEC suspension (wanted to stay clear of warranty issues until 100k in about 1.5 yrs from now)...need to take pics but we all know Aspec drop is VERY minimal

Update Time!

Update Time:

1) 19" black wheels are gone (long story)....back to stock wheels until i find some other 19's i fall in love with (not easy to go back to 17" stockies)

2) 20mm hubcentric rear spacers installed today (pics upcoming)....so far really liking the look....will probably install some smaller ones for the front very soon...flush/wide look is great.

3) Extended stock exhaust tips done today (pics upcoming)

Stay tuned got some pics coming up.

Car looks awesome man. I have a couple of questions 1) What exactly did JNC do to your headlights cause they look really good 2) hows the painted grill holding up, i've heard that it chips really easily thats why i was thinking about wrapping it instead.

Thx man.

JnC lights were blacked out (flat black) and he painted the rings around HIDs Anthracite (and amber diffuser left in).

Painted grills holds up ok....i try to take care of it....no big problems....i'm on 3rd year with this mod (must have for NBPs).

Sounds good? I'm very hesitant to drop 800 bucks on an exhaust system for a v-6 lol, it just seems like it can't stand up to the sound of my '73 roadrunner

^^sounds VERY classy. I got stage1 first (barely barely noticeable) then went to stage2 and it is really nice (noticable yet not overbearing) a definite pleasure every time I get in my car.....and soo cheap....Nice!

Update Time Again!

So i know i still owe some people pics of my stock wheels with 20mm spacers in the rear. Unfortunately your gonna have to take my word for it that they looked REAL good....total flush fit. The stockies are off and the gunmetal Aspecs are on. **I'll soon be selling my stocks (with 95% tire tread left on good Yokohamas) in coming weeks if ur interested**

Of course pics with new wheels are coming up soon....let me give it a good cleaning and i'll post some before and afters.

Whats next??.....thinking about a j-pipe, swapping my tan carpets for black, and an intake.

BTW, this website has ruined my wallet.....BUT damn i love the look of my car right now....
