Honestly, I kinda feel like a lot of wheels eventually get to be really popular and then the mystique behind them causes the demand to be strong and cost to be high.
Not gonna lie, although I thought they looked cool...I would never pay what I sold the TE for for them. Same with the Regas...if you step back and forget that they're high end and everyone sweats them...they look a little like Rota slips

Okay, so after a week of cleaning them up...they're on the car and I really couldn't be ANY happier. I love the new wheels.
Picked them up about an hour before I sold the TE and broke even. Sold the center caps they came with and bought the ones I love, settled on an accent color and placed my orders.
-removed old weight stickers
-washed wheels
-spent about 3 total hours with touch up paint on the wheels
-since they were pc'd...I used silver touch up to make the "advan racing" visible.
-rewashed with degreaser to get all brake dust off
-touched up more
-waxed them
-tire shine
Went from this:

I agree, something about it looks mean as heck now! I love that they are dark but not black...but from afar they just match the theme between the roof and all the emblems...amber and black and silver...
