I second that motion. The first thing other members do when they see a photo of new wheels and tires is to ask what are the specs are of each. Stickying this post would help members from having to hunt for wheel/tire posts of others in the various 4g sub-forums and the main forum when trying to decide on a new setup themselves (me included). I also think stickying this post may have prevented one member from selling is previous wheels to get a wider stance. The sticky may have prevented another member from tearing up his sidewalls for selecting tires much too wide for the wheel offset he chose.

Hey everyone, this community is so very informative, This thread alone is a goldmine.
I'm a total noob here and have a 4G 09 TL SHAWD polished metal with the stock aero kit, this is my DD.
I would like these: http://nicheroadwheels.com/lucerne-m142-w-12116.htm
at 9" with 245/35 rubber.
The guy at my local tire shop said the 9" would be a problem with the +35 offset. This wheel does not come with a higher offset at that bolt pattern (5x120) according to the spec sheet on the niche website.
Not intending on lowering it but its not out of the question.
please comment on the fitment of a 9" wide wheel with 245/35 rubber, will these stick out too far? problems? look and stance? Camber kit?
Obviously throughout this forum and on this thread people are running more aggressive set-ups so I'm assuming my tire shop guys is clueless.
Thank you. Excited to get started with my car, these forums have inspired me.

I'm having a hard time picturing how it will sit with stock susspension. The overall diameter of the tire and wheel wouldnt change thus the gap will be the same. Those Niche wheels will be 1" wider than stock and the Offset is +35 where stock is +55 I believe. Will the Wheels stick out beyond the fender?

The DWs are great! Very grippy, but it may also be due to the wider tread from going from 245's to 265's. I've had the DWS previously in 245/45/18's. The were good tires, but I could feel the car getting a little squirrely on hard turns. The DW's I have now feel like they have stiffer sidewalls, but it also could be because of the shorter sidewall from going from stock 18's to the TSW 19's.
