Well, funny that you ask...first plan is to have UPS stop by Matt's shop and pick it up as it was accidentally left there. Lmao.

Afterwich, from what I can tell and remember about everything, the intercooler is placed in a position that it shouldn't require but minimal trimming.

Oh, and thanks Swoosh...I actually didn't know that. I'll add that first thing in the morning just for you bud.

I just wanted to take a few moments to really highlight Matt's work and give some feedback for those who may want to use him in the future for work. For starters, one thing did NOT do was call me anytime he was faced with complications or issues on the job he performed asking for additional money. He quoted and stuck to it. There were many things he could've righteously called me about but all I ever received was a call/text explaining the current status of the car as well as updated pictures throughout the entire build. He's an easy going, professional person that takes alot of pride in every step he took and it easily shows in the details. He stayed up late MANY nights at the end to meet his deadline and even chose to miss part of a family planned event on Sunday just to help me get the car running so I could get it home. Overall, I have no complaints. There were no issues with the car AT ALL on the one hour drive home going through traffic and even after putting another 1-2 hours of run time on her....nothing. I highly recommend the guy for quality, honest work. Especially if you live near the DFW metroplex in Texas.

Hickam Series FTW!!!

Both wastegates had the springs removed to prevent boost. The ECM hasn't been tuned yet for the turbo. Still have a few more things to get before I can run the springs. I did, however, check everything today at 2.5lbs of boost and the turbo was creating boost as low as 2000rpms and the BOV sounded great.

Oh Fox, you're such an evil man! What happened to that heart-to-heart we had last night over text...you know what part I'm referring to!

I'm gonna keep an edgy tune on her but I'm not gonna bust her guts open that soon. I would like to have some good times first and then maybe when I get bored of the same old thing....prepare by starting a build and then cranking it up. Lol.

Well, one day I'll jump on the bandwagon with all you young bucks and do a cross country with some of my boys here. Maybe we can meet up then and could check it out. Trust me, many more pictures and videos to come.

Videos coming soon fellas...

Although it hasn't been tuned yet, I've been getting it ready for that point which will make things much more reliable in many aspects.

Started with making sure I've heat shielded all wiring harnesses in the engine compartment and securing them away from the turbo manifolds and tubing.

Reran positive battery cable from battery in trunk beneath the car (following factory fuel line routing) and secured it with brackets every 7 inches. Then ran ground from battery straight to frame followed by large ground straps on both bottom and top of engine over to the frame.

Ran large steel fuel line (again, alongside factory fuel line routing) from gas tank up to where the brake booster sits. Need to get adapter fittings that convert standard size flare fittings to AN fittings so that a can attach to fuel line and fuel pump. I still need to determine a way that a can modify the fuel pump in a manner it will accept an fitting. Probably use the quick disconnect to AN adapter for this. Not sure if the pump housing fuel line diameter is suitable for my fuel demand or not.

Almost forgot, the brackets on the Accord seat was quite a bit difference from the RSX seat. I ended up having to cut off the brackets from the Accord seat and weld the, onto the RSX seat. But, in the end...it worked

Next up this week is to get rid of all rubber hoses, namely the radiator and heater hoses, and replace them with custom steel tubes. I've been working very hard lately on both acquiring the skills and equipment to do this. Got me a mig welder and practiced on a some steel tubing I had. Just ordered everything I'll need online and hopefully this will be done by the end of this week. No bends, just joining angled cuts.

Ok, hasn't been a whole lot of activity here lately so I figured I'd update everyone. I've really spent the past week or so straightening out all the issues that would sooner or later become an issue. One of the biggest has been routing the harness in such a manner that the radiant heat from the manifolds and downpipe didn't burn or melt anything. So I literally unplugged/disconnected everything and routed in a manner that would be as far away from the heat as possible. And trust me, with limited space, this took ost of the time. I took a few pictures along the way to illustrate what I did.

The first few pics are of the lower radiator hose. I initially planned on welding up some steel 1.25" tubing and routing it through the maze of pipe but then realized it was really just one area that concerned me most. After the tube connects to the thermostat housing, it makes about a 6.5" straight and then 90's straight down. It was here at this point it was literally resting against the downpipe. So, I got a little creative with some 20g sheet metal and fashioned in such a manner that it cupped the hose and protected it. After cutting a few slits to hold the stainless steel zip ties, it secured very nicely. I even double rolled all edges with my shop vise and then contoured all the sharp edges and corners so there were no potential problems with puncturing the hoses.

I also seen the same issue with a bulk portion of the wiring harness near the bellhousing towards the rear of the transmission. So, again, aluminum sheet metal. You can see that these harnesses were inches away from the exhaust and it would only be a matter of time before the heat broke the plastic/wiring down.

The freshly installed rsx seat. These seats are much more firm and offer alot more wrap as opposed to the stock Accord seats. I realized that I forgot to change the female portion of the seatbelt on my trip home yesterday as the buckles wouldn't fit each other.

We use to have huge get togethers over a game of darts and some good food. Did that for an easy 2 years and then we all just lost interest and so the board still hangs.

Pulley was fabricated by SFP as it's custom; see contact below:

E-manage Blue for tuning; piggyback via boomslang harness which makes it plug & play with our ecu.... clean!

Boomslang Wire Harness

AZ member Scalbert left us with a slew of information regarding his MBP (max boost pulley) setup; see directory below:

Comptech Supercharger Archives

He made 369whp/310wtq @ 7psi with just the intercooler... no other mods.

I have tons of other goodies

Sorry to thread jack you Yung
