Hey folks, just to add a shameless plug here, if the BC racing setup is too gnarly for you we are looking at bringing the Eibachs back. See our other thread!

It will be higher than stock. Tons of adjustment going both ways.

Oh really so you could easily just lower it an inch. So you don't have to wrestle with the rear camber? How do they feel for the daily commute?

No, raising and lowering it will effect your alignment.

Ride can be adjusted to firmer or softer than stock. Very easy to do and will not effect the alignment.

I know any lowering will need adjustment I am just saying seeing as there is no option of rear camber adjustment just lowering it a little will be easier on tires rather than dropping it 2"s so that's a good thing. If I can hold on to my rdx long enough and the shocks bite the dust this is what I'll be doing for sure. maybe by then there will be a camber adjustment and a rear sway

Sorry BU. I've been building my next race car and it has taken up all my spare time.

The rear chamber even with my aggressive drop is not that bad, just an FYI.

My rear chamber is 1 degree more than the "normal range" from Acura. My car is very low though.

Yes, you can run them at or even higher than stock ride height.

Guys, if I low my Spring Preload setting. Will my ride quality be more comfortable?
I already tried adjusting Stiffness to Soft, but everytime I rides over a pothole or manhole.
It will have a "Boom" impact like you are just lowering with stiff spring...

Looking for some advise, please.
Thank You

I am getting my ass kicked by these things!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

Had to grind off one of the swaybar link balls because of a nut that wouldnt come off, then I had a seized bolt on the rear control arm (the one that holds the strut on) and now my spring clamps will not fit in the tight space!

Man! I have done many suspensions and this one is the worst by far!

The only time I was having that issue over potholes was when I had it set up all they way to hard but I have have my rdx pretty low I might be the lowest rdx. So are you turning it counterclockwise for soft right ?? if not turn it counterclockwise all the way then click it 8 times clockwise to the H it should be to the right. click number 8 is stock setting for the rdx from factory setting and then drive it let me know how it feels and post a pic want to see how low your rdx is .

I contacted them, they said that the coil overs are only for the front wheel drive version RDX. I told him to check his facts, and he once again said that was the case.

BC suspension is located in orlando so I'm waiting on the word so I can swing by with my RDX for a proper AWD fitment.

That does not sound right the suspension that was used was off a 2007 AWD Rdx for the project from rotary rocket . If that is the case they screwed up nothing was mention about this been an issue. Fwd was not even offered in 07-09 and that's the suspension they used. Do you have anything to add to this rotary rocket .

how do the BC coilovers compare with Eibach's? i know the Eibach's do not have shocks but what are the pros and cons of each?

Also, it looks like the BC coil overs nullify the multi-link rear suspension? is this true?

Eibach is a drop spring very comfortable ride with 1"-1.3" drop.

Now if you are in the market for new set shocks/struts KYB has a set for $270 front & rear shipped.

BC fully adjustable coilover 3 times more expensive in comparison.

It will come down to your taste, you want the ability to change your ride height and shock stiffness, or just lower it slightly easy DIY setup.

Heeltoe has 9 paid orders for Eibach Springs only need 1 more to fulfill this limited run. 1 member will be paying on the 16th.

If you choose to order the Eibach or BC heeltoe has them and offers members a discount. Use acurazinerocks code at checkout.

Anyone try out the Megan Racing Coilovers for the RDX, I found a few kits on eBay looks like decently-good quality stuff... Admittedly I made a low offer on a kit, and was countered by the seller $690 with free shipping. Which is an amazing price! Ill attached the listing link below!

I was just skeptical to purchase without knowing of a single review on the product, so the counter offer expired. :/

I do have a paid preorder for the ATLP lowering springs... I just really want an adjustable kit. Especially after noticing my passenger side front strut is leaking.

Wondering if anyone knows... I supposedly ended up buying an early manufactured set. It was the famous set that was lost in the mail. I ended up buying them off a guy on ebay that bought them from the clearing house.

Everything is there and they are for sure for the RDX but seeing that others that have them are able to raise them to above stock height and that I have had some alignment problems I am wondering if maybe there were two runs or something.

Mine at the highest setting (or within 1/2" of it) barely leave me any wheel gap. I have 19" wheels w/ 245/45 tires. Im thinking if what everyone is saying that I should be able to adjust another 2-3 inches up?

Also both times that I have tried to align the front end I havent been able to. Just wondering if anyone else (especially some of the early production guys) are having any of the same problems?

Thanks

This is sort of a hijack, but there needs to be an explanation for the ebay megan coilovers above ^ and there is some exciting info if it's true/possible:

The seller countered with $850 for the Street coilovers. He will still honor the $690 on the EZ-Street series but there isn't a developed set for the RDX, yet...

According to the seller, Megan has a set of the EZ-Street coilovers for 07-12 RDX in production and possibly ready within 3 months. I asked for a confirmation and got a much more general answer though. Basically saying Megan wants to cover all current models and should be available in the near future.

Here's the transcript, it reads in reverse, so you might want to scroll to the bottom:
Dear ,

Hi, Megan is trying their best to make EZ for all current models. It is just an ETA but will be available in the near future. We will keep you updated.

For reals? Are you in works with Megan on this or something? I'd like to let our RDX community know on Acurazine if that's the case.

Thanks!

Dear dossico,

Hi,

Thanks for getting back to me.

Megan doesn't appear to make the EZ-Street series for the RDX. According to their site only the Street series was done for the RDX. Do you have a EZ-Street model that fits the RDX?

Dear ,

Hi, not for Street Series. For Street Series the best we can do is $850.00 since you were referred. As for EZ Streets we will honor $690.00

Former board member said you'd do $690 free shipping, is that still a valid deal or what's the best you can do?

They actually came out of PA... The guy that I bought them from bought them at a clearing house for lost items. I guess he had access to the auctions for lost mail.

I wanted the history on them because he was selling them new for half the original cost and he had it all. Even knew (because of your posts) that they were your missing ones. I think he bought them well after they settled up with you.

Any update on the Rear Camber hardware?? (1 degree is livable.. My Audi S6 is off by that much and i just add + 5psi to compensate for it)

I just ordered the BC adjustable coil-overs and it will take 2-3 weeks before i get them ($1050 incl S&H)...
I also ordered a set of XXR 522 18" Chromium Black rims with a +30mm offset for it as well ($600)...
Ordered LED strip lights for the head lights (internal), brake lights (internal), HID 3000k yellow fog lights, 6000k HID high beams (i am going to pull the fuse for the DRLs) and white LED turn signals.

I want to thank all of U for your input in this thread!!! (worth the 7 pages of reading) especially Rotary Rocket... Great Work and Ur ride looks SICK!!! (Even my 22yr old son said its the best looking CUV he has ever seen)

Next will be the Flashpro once I do all the mods i can to maximize a tune... Thanks again all

no update yet on rear camber.. front is already out.. why 18s and not 19s? if you are lowering i would think a 19 would look cleaner

Ok on the Camber and Thanks for replying... I dont plan on Slamming it (2in drop max); I want to keep the wheel diameter small to maintain comfort, wheel/tire weight for fuel mileage and more choices in tires for Ice Racing... I will go wider before taller (2nd reason for the +30 offset). I have 15x9.5 XXR 522 0 offset rims with a 235 Hoosier on my Race CRX and they respond/handle great (occasional rub on the fender liner). I will be able to adjust the coil overs so the rims/tires have a nice clean even gap to the fender... I can always play with tires as well to fine tune how it looks... If after all that and they still don't look right i can use them on my Lude...

i have the eibach springs on my rdx and its a 2 finger gap between the stock 18inch wheel and fender.. a 2 inch drop with the stock 18s and i am sure your tire will be flush.. the 19s will give you a all around better drive better road handling and still the comfort of driving over a pot hole without it feeling like you hit grand canyon.. but since you already got the 18s i guess you might as well put them to good use right? =)

Can someone post how they adjusted the rear shocks to be the proper height as the springs? The instructions aren't very detailed and only states that they must be adjusted together... They are different size diameters so turns cant be counted... Measure the height of the shock verses the spring? Looseness of shock??
I have my rear almost maxed in height and it is still only one finger above the tires (255/55 R18)
Thanks

Here is a Pic of 07 RDX with the BC Suspension installed; this pic is at full height adjustment of the springs (threads up to bottom of adjuster plate) and i believe no load on the shocks... I have 1 in of "Level" clearance and have 255/55 R 18 (29" dia) tires mounted on 18x8.5 +30 mm offset rims. I am going to contact customer support to find out how to adjust the shock height to springs properly... Anyone know?

I put the Specialty Products 0-1.75 camber bolt on the front and have plenty of camber adjustment.

Hey Rocket... At first U mentioned that the back camber was adjustable then later said it wasn't. I looked at my rear lower control arm where it connects to the frame and there is what appears to be a bolt on an eccentric cam/washer with graduated markings on it.
