98 v6accord motor+tranny+ecu

Will this fit perfectly into a 97v6 cl? I'm in desprate need of a new motor, being that I have 145k, and there is a guy locally, selling this for $500.

wow! nice price. make sure everything is working on that. isn't it the exact same motor and tranny? ever since I came to the site people have been saying that
all 3.0 parts transfer from a 98 accord, right?

From my understanding is that the motor mounts wont fit perfectly. I believe the mounts would be off by an inch. Their chasis is a bit difference from ours.

Everything should fit fine, I dont see why the mounts would be off.

motor mounts should not be bad even if they are off... the motor is the same one j30 so it will fit in there but might not line up with the motor mounts. check it out should be able to tell if not you can just cut them off and weld on the correct ones.

I'm really hoping that the transmission would fit, because of the fact that dr evil is making stronger rebuild components that will help us v6 guys out that are trying to make hp with our cars. Currently, they do not support the cl transmission because of differences, the main concern seemed to be the valving.

you should check with "dr. evil" to see if the mounts and such will match up. since he knows about the honda tranny, he should know mounting locations.

everything should fit. however the wiring harness is different for the tranny on the 97 cl and the 98/99. its only one more sensor but the computer is prolly gonna thro a code for that one sensor and make ur tranny shift hard. its a secondairy shaft speed sensor. id do alittle more research just to make sure. the motor should be aiit tho. good luck. oh yea HELLO EVERYONE... IM IN TURKEY, they have some fly ass women here.
