"new member" transmission?

Exclamation "new member" transmission?

hi, new member here from palm springs,ca i just sold my 2007 chevy cobalt supercharged and purchased this 05 tsx auto and i have this question about the tranny. when ever i shift from D to P or R it makes a loud noise u can hear a clunk, is it normal because the gears shift really smooth?

He may be talking about the loud click when shifting into/out of gear or from reverse to drive (and vice versa). If that's the case, I believe it's normal (mine does it).

strange.

I don't have any loud clicks either.
no noise is made at all.

From D to R? Make sure you stop completely ... otherwise, on my car, no clunk. From D to P ... same again, I make sure I've come to a complete stop (sometimes shifting to N for a moment while I set the parking brake), then to P. Again, with those steps, no loud clunk (or shudder). Take it back to the dealer.
