Car Cover recommendations-'08 TL
I did a search and couldn't find any info so I'm posting this question. Can anybody recommend a decent car cover that fits a 2008 TL that doesn't break the bank? Car will be in the garage most of the time so I won't really need one that has sun resistance capability like sunbrella.
Thanks fellas

go to covercraft website to find an indoor cover. or go to autoanything.com and contact them with your needs. i found them to be quite helpful in deciding on my outdoor cover for my car. autoanything is a dealer for covercraft covers. they can be customized. get a cover that has mirror pockets. it will allow the cover to sit flush with the sides of the car better. as far as pricing i'm not sure on the pricing of indoor covers, since i've only purchased outdoor covers.
most people looking for covers are looking for an outdoor cover, hence you're not gonna find a lot of info here.

i've had two covers for my TL. i had a evolution cover...it was good and held up for 4 yrs or so, but over time dust would penetrate the cover. my 2nd cover-the covercraft NOAH cover...was a really good cover. if it rained, then dired out the next day...no dust. the car was perfectly clean. i will also say it saved my car for incurring more scratches on it from when a tree branch fell on my car. the cover had three huge holes in it from the branch impact and pulling over parts of my roof rack (which was the biggest factor in saving the roof of my car). the nice thing is that covercraft can actually repair the cover if i so choose, even with the huge holes in it. they are going to replace the panels that were damaged and the pricing is not outrageous at all. covercraft as a company is very customer service oriented. i haven't sent mine in yet, since my car is currently in garage queen mode since coming home from the body shop.
if you read through the covercraft cover guide they have it will have a breakdown comparison of all the different materials they use and the best use for them. indoor covers will be light weight (mostly for dust, more than anything). outdoor covers need to be able to withstand the elements (UV, bird bombs, rain, acid rain, industrial fall out, pollen, dust, sap, breathable, etc.).

my wife got me a new cover for the Corvette, which sits in the garage most of the time. told her I just needed an inexpensive cover for dust protection mostly. it replaced a very good Noah cover, which was made for outside use. it had become so full of dust, it wouldn't come clean in a commercial washer.
well the new cover was inexpensive and does protect from dust, but it is so light and flimsy it is a real pain to put on the car if you are by yourself. keep that in mind when selecting a car cover. hey it should last for years indoors, so don't cheap out like me.
