They have to change the sheetmetal to "fix" the rear, a simple rearrangement of the lights won't do. The coupe looks so much better.

Yeah, i've always hated the sedan. I like what they did with the M3 sedan though, how it ha the E92 front end...they should just make that the look for all the E90's...

Also someone on the forum mentioned that those pictures could be of a desiel version. Guess from the gas tank residue.

They also got rid of the reflectors off the headlights.

Is everyone just playing along with his joke, or do people not see that his trade-in value of $30k equals his post count???

Based on looks alone, I'd say C63>RS4>M3>IS-F. Having seen all of them on the road except the M3.

Actually, I have been itching with the idea of trading in and getting the M3.

Thought about dumping the 335i now and drive the Mazda3 for a year. Then pick up a slightly used M3 next year.... But really dont want to take a 10k hit the 335i when its been perfectly great to me.

for 30k posts though!!

You're so predictable. I even called you out about trading your 335 for the M3 and you vehemently denied it would ever happen.

Well, I still believe you'll trade in your car for the Mer...you can't help yourself. I don't mean it in a bad way...if you can do it, why not. But, just sayin'...it won't be tomorrow but it'll be sometime soon.

Ill admit it, i just cant afford a new M3 which is over $60k after taxes. Gas guzzler tax...

The gas and insurance would kill me also. Just wouldnt feel right spending that much on a car right now.

Cycle is never ending... i will get the M3 then will want a P-car...

Well, if you sold the 3 and the 335...you would have enough $$$. Is insurance that much more...?

As for gas...well, not sure how much extra you're looking at but it can't be that back-breaking, can it?

The E9x M3's are so gorgeous. I saw a E92 yesterday and that V8 clearly pounds mine. What a freaking exhaust note!

The interiors aren't real flashy. The steering wheel and seats are to die for. The sedan had all black interior with carbon fiber looking leather trim. I had never seen leather like that before. The sound system was nice, and the engine sound is beautiful, although a little more subdued than I would like.

The clutch is freakishly light. It feels like it's not even attached to a cable, more like it's an e-clutch or something. The gearbox was nice. I would need more time to really get a feel for the clutch and gearbox, they feel less direct than the same in my subie.

It's weird driving a car like this with such a long powerband. It wasn't as fast as I was expecting, although I didn't flog it too hard since it only had 110 miles on it. Midrange power definitely felt like less than my subie, although the power delivery is so smooth that I think the M3 may be sneaky fast. I also figure once the M3 was broken in and you could bring it all the way up to (and past ) 8000 rpms it would really start to shine. overall it wasn't as quick as I was expecting, especially down low and in the mid range where my subie shines. The 335xi auto sedan actually felt like it had as much power and TQ down low and in the mid range.

The handling was great. very glued to the road and I could tell the brakes are incredible, even though I didn't have a chance to really try them out. Steering is pretty light, a little too light for my taste, but I'm sure it's something that you would get used to.

Build quality, interior quality and paint quality were all superb to me (Subaru driver), although it would be nice to have a suede or alcantara headliner in a 70K automobile.

Overall, I think it would be tough to take the M3 over other comparable cars that I'm guessing are brutally quick and fast, aka Corvette & GT-R. The M3 just didn't push me back in the seat like I though it would.
It did not feel fast because the torque output is nothing super special.

Also I bet the clutch pedal felt so soft because your is so hard I remember the first time I got into my sister's Golf coming out of my Talon TSi. I thought her clutch was broken.

The stripes are neons. The LEDs are the turn signals. For brakes, it's the regular halogens beneath the neons.
