A Russian LEGEND

This video is long (20+ minutes).

I speak very little Russian...but they seem to really like the LEGEND for comfortable and confident handling, exhaust note and love the interior and appointments. The one guy (Boris?) is very detailed to point out the redundancy of controls and lack of dust on the dashboard.

Ashame the Russian version gets no NAVI, no XM, no Homelink, and I assume Voice Commands are moot.

I don't know what the BMW segment is in the middle, but there is more LEGEND footage afterwards. This is one of the most extensive video reviews I have seen thus far. We just need some translation!

I think the only word I understood there was "Legend". They did seem to like it.

Nice find, but I did not understand anything but Honda Legend, and I think I did not hear one reference to пыль on the dashboard.

Thanks for this interesting video find! The dialogues these gentlemen have are a bit odd but I think we all can relate. Here is a quick cliff note to highlight important discussion topics.

6:25 - A heated debate between the 3 men about why such an exquisite sedan like Honda Legend could have transform in to such a hideous beast called a 09 Acura RL.

7:03 – Vladimir is so aroused by the sound of the Honda Legend vtec peaking at 5,500 RPM he jizzed his pants.

19:15 – a demonstration of how the Honda Legend would be a great DD for any upscale KGB (Russian mobsters) members who think the truck space is to tad small for a avg
6.5” Russians deadweight.

ok...I've watched the video

The beginning is in Ukranian, parts in Russian as well as one guy who keeps speaking Ukranian even though the other 2 guys speak to him in Russian.

Main concerns?

$65k, they keep saying 4th gen legend. One of the guys counted over 100 buttons in the front alone.

They quote 295hp...dunno.

They are comparing the car to the 5 series bimmers and E class.

Their overall grade was 4+ which is essentially 87% and the guy said that he expects 5+ aka over 100% from Honda.

Oh yeah...they were making funny of the fuel economy too.

Let me know if any specific segments are interesting to you...

Ok, fine, they put the guy in the trunk to demonstrate that someone 6 feet tall can fit fine and showed that there's a pull to exit gadget built in.

And they mentioned that even though it's a 5 seater it is practical for 4 adults.

I really didn't understand most of what the Ukranian guy was saying and the entire test was done in Ukraine.

BMWs in the middle and F1 towards the end were advertisements so you can ignore them.

Thanks for the accurate synopsis; however I still think my depiction is a bit more entertaining.

Great overview.
Some things to add. They've mostly all liked the exterior (including the new Honda grill), but interior not so much. One guy have counted overall 6 color patterns and almost 100 buttons (excl. back seat). Also, they have had hard time to figure out, how to display temperature sensor reading.
Definitely they did not liked fuel consumption - according to official numbers it should be 14 litres/100 km in the city and 11 litres/100 km highway. With analogy with TopGear - "Mister Slow" had 18 litres/100km mixed mode and sport guy had something around 20 liters/100 km average.

Liked one thing been mentioned in the beginning (ukranian) - that basically only "knowledgeable" person who has done some research upfront would buy Legend. Other guy also mentioned, that he likes Legend engineering, how it was done, specifically, the way the car drives with vehicle stability system turned off, unlike Merc.
