Hey guys. For the paint damage to my fender, a friend referred me out to "Auto Details" out on 115th and 105 Ave. Anyone have any experience with these guys?

So i was recommended to this paint shop on the south end for my lips. 150$ per lip which came to be 300 for 2 lips which was cheap, he seemed to know his colors as well

@Jeff - Got it from Alberta Honda. Already ordered my Takeda SRI and I'm going with lowering springs this time cause I can't justify coilovers right now. But first things first, some cosmetic mods, since its black I gotta color match the ugly ass grill lol.
@thegoodlife - Picking it up tomorrow, black, tech package, SH-AWD, 98,000kms for $23,000. I actually saw yours and considered yours, but I prefer black and his already had the aspec kit on so that saves me some time and money down the road. Why you selling yours?
Anyone have any recommendations of a paint shop with good prices? I wanna paint the beak grill asap.

@Aaron - Nice! Too bad it wasn't one of the models that came with a painted front grill. You could always see if someones selling one in the azine marketplace. I had my lip painted at brunei auto in the southside...you could give them a call as well.

Anyone know a good place to buy long open end wheel lugs locally? Last time I ordered them from online and it took forever. Don't want to wait this time.

Next weekend is Easter long weekend, and I have family obligations that Sunday ;(
Got my summers put on earlier this week. Kal-tire told me three of the rims are "noticeably bent". But the guy was surprised I haven't noticed any vibrations. So... who knows. Wife and I are buying a place soon, so no major mods for me. Probably looking to do some cosmetic work to my car though. Anyone know any good body shops in town? Someone at work decided to put their boot in my door and hit the crash bar as well, so I can't just push it out -_-
@ArenHam - SH-AWD is so fun! Such a huge difference in the winter as well.

New to the forum. Quick question for those who have installed oem window visors on their 04-08 TL. Where can i possibly get one without having to go through Acura here in the city? Called both dealerships and they're charging $350 for the set with a months wait. "http://www.acurapartsforless.com" won't ship to my address and "https://www.acuraoemparts.com" has no guarantee once it leaves their dealership.

Hey guys. I bought a white 2013 TSX last year but I am sort of new the forums. Putting on my summer tires pretty soon. Does anyone know where I can find a good price for TPMS in the city or online?

Also, Has anyone here been shopping for 19 inch tires? I'm thinking of getting a set of the Acura Diamond Cut, two-tone wheels ($1,600 delivered), but my regular tire shop warned me that 19 inch tires are pricier than 18's and 20's, and there's less selection to choose from. Any thoughts? Depending on precisely what "pricier" means, I'm not too worried about that, as I would only run them in the summer, so they'd last a few years, and wouldn't be replacing very often (not like the set of Eagle GT's that lasted me one year). But I would like to know there's some selection available.

have you sat in an X6? one of my closet friends own one, and i wouldnt say the interior say is that much bigger, i felt cramped in there compared to my TL
FWIW, I went to see these guys, and they gave me a quote of "about $1000" for the proper fix (repaint, with blending), and just a few hundred to buff and touch-up. They'l also fix a couple of door dings while they're at it for another hundred or so. They say they do the work for the Acura dealerships. I'm going to give them a try for the proper fix, and see how it goes.

I'm one of about 6 people in the world that doesn't mind the look of the ZDX. That said, for a "bigger" vehicle, I can get in and out of the backseat of my TL a lot easier than the ZDX. Once I learned that, the ZDX was off my radar.

For wheels look at 1010tire.com they are canadian and they have decent options on wheels. Also black market here has some good wheels from time to time. Why spend 1600$ +tires on stock wheels when for the same price or less you can have some work wheels or something like that.

Man no wonder some body shops make so much money, so I brought my car in to get my grill painted and for the painting of the grill its fairly reasonable, $180. But he says he wants an additional $250 for taking off the grill which is a 2.2 hour process cause he as to take the bumper off. 2.2 hours to take a front bumper off? Sheesh

@Ricky - yeah I tried today but the hardest part without taking off the front bumper are the 6 pressure clips at the base of the grill, they're an absolute bitch to get off.
@sockpuppet - I'm doing the whole beak so it matches the car

I've been debating what I want to do. I'll try and call Auto Details tomorrow to book that fender work, and I'll see if I can get a couple of quotes. If you'd like, I'll ask them about a price for the whole beak. Yours is CBP as well...might be some economy of scale.
