YES!!!! I just saw this and was going to post but figured I'd best check. So glad to hear Jenson got another run at it. Funny thing, his re-signing kind of overshadows Alonso's signing no?

But I'm guessing with Alonso costing $40M they gotta make cuts.

Good for Button, bad for Magnussen, who like his father, got only a short stint with McLaren.

Ferrari Chief Designer Tombazis rumored to be fired/leaving, BUT Bob Bell to be coming to Ferrari. Bell and Bryne should make for a formidable combo, all they need now is a decent aerodynamics engineer.

if the engine design stays frozen, it'll be another MBZ cakewalk next year unless Honda, coming in with a brand new design that incorporates MBZ design-work is reliable and powerful. Ferrari and Renault are kinda screwed next year I think.

Best possible news...sorry to see K-Mag get the short straw, though. Hope he gets back in a racing seat in the future.
Right behind ya. At the very least, a lanyard and a polo for me. I see Jenson already rockin' a Honda shirt in his interview.

Heads continue to roll at Scuderia Ferrari

Kinda surprised they didn't fire Patrick Fry earlier this year.
James Allison is back (from Lotus) which probably suits Rory Bryne better as they worked together at Ferrari in the 2000's

Vettel has to be wondering what he got himself into, esp. if Kimi goes faster than him.

Looks like Ferrari is on a full rebuild mode. Massive changes in every department. I'd think Ferrari right now is putting 2015 as a write off already. The 2015 car is already designed, but so many key people involved are gone.

I can't believe Ecclestone is pushing for engine regulation changes to take place in 2016. Honda especially and most likely the remaining manufacturers got to be wondering WTF is going on. They spend hundreds of millions of dollars to build engines that become obsolete after 2 seasons?? Bernie is afraid apparently MBZ will continue to dominate and that the sport will become "boring." Umm, where were you Bernie when Illmor, Honda, Renault, etc. were running consecutive championships?

just found another article that said changes by 2016 appear very unlikely but supposedly the engines will be more powerful, louder and cheaper than the hybrid units they are replacing (which in turn are quieter, more powerful and more expensive than the V-8's they replaced).

^ Thx for posting, gives a human aspect to the drivers you don't normally see.
I like in the second video near 37:00 when Ricarrdo and him exchange helmets, then he congratulates Hamilton and Scherzinger tells him she likes the beard on him.
Bob Bell (Renault Technical Director) said Alonso is the hardest working F1 driver he ever worked with, which is pretty high praise since he also worked with Lauda and Prost (who both are workaholics) when he was at McLaren.

Provides such great insight into what's actually going on behind the scenes. I loved when Fernando finds his special suit for the race. Just seemed like such a genuine/happy/special reaction/moment. Helmet exchange & all the relationship stuff was cool too.
Imagine how awesome it would be if whatever broadcaster followed a different driver each week like this through the season. Like a series kinda thing, even if only 6 or 8 episodes. That would be incredible!!! Doubt something like that would ever happen, but that would be insanely awesome.

his physio was more like a personal valet: helping him with his driver's suit, handing him his sun glasses, helmet, ear plugs, whatever; carrying his suitcase and giving him stuff to eat/drink. That was cool though, whole new perspective.
