Damn, sorry to hear that, I was just thinking about that the other day (how would I feel if something like that happened to me). I think that's about the only way I'd get rid of the car, as anything short of totaling it I would probably fix it, e.g. when the tranny blows on this one I'll just rebuild it. If something like that did happen, (car got totaled), I would honestly feel ambivalent about it. On the one hand I love the car and it drives and looks great, on the other hand, there are much nicer newer cars out there nowadays. The fact that the car is in great shape belies the fact that it's what, 20 years old now? I don't drive enough to justify the purchase of a new car, but I think if I did it would have to be a Tesla. Let the car drive itself in traffic, and no more gasoline engine fuc*ery, no more oil changes, exhaust compliance BS, transmission issues, etc.

I think I'd probably lease it too, no more headaches, if it breaks, here you go dealer fix it.

glad I took your advice,

Here are some before and after pics, looks great, I ordered some oem seat cushions and installed the new leathers over the new seat cushions, seat feels brand new, but it was not easy to get these covers on, it's quite the process for the amateur, suggest if you buy some leathers from Auto Custom Leathers, let them install it, but it's not always possible if you're too far, so just ask them for tips and I'm sure they'll give you some good tips.

After - looks amazing

My mind says "I want this".
My wallet says "noooooo"

That looks really good. Time to add it to my list of 'things to do on my car'.

Nice Job!
It looks like you opted for the arm rest cover as well.
Just curious, how long did it take for them to be shipped?

I live about an hour and a half away from them, they are in Springfield, MA, so I picked them up (no shipping).

It took them about 2 weeks time to have them ready for pickup.

The Arm Rest I ordered brand new OEM from an Acura Parts Site, so it wasn't part of the Auto Custom Leathers order.

They are quite affordable, suggest you reach out to them and inquire about the cost for whatever you want to do.

Next I gotta find someone to do my steering wheel over.
