Hey dudes, Happy Easter everyone. Just wanted to share a pic of my daughters TL Type-S. I told her I would clean it up and fix I few things on it for her birthday. Did the headlights restore, fixed the armrest and cup holder, cleaned it inside and out, engine too, and buffed out all the scratches. Man it looks a whole lot better. Not bad for a 209K car.

WD40 can be used anything in the engine bay. I just spray it all over and do a simple wipe. Shiny and clean

Just a heads up NISMO Fiesta will be in San Marcos this weekend. Expect a lot of Z's and GTR's running around between San Antonio and Austin. This year they have Nissan Executives flying in to participate.

Yep, Like he said
What surfaces or materials are OK to use WD-40 Multi-Use Product on?

WD-40 Multi-Use Product can be used on just about everything. It is safe to use on metal, rubber, wood and plastic. It can also be applied to painted metal surfaces without harming the paint. Polycarbonate and clear polystyrene plastic are among the few surfaces on which to avoid using a petroleum-based product like WD-40 Multi-Use Product.

WD-40 Uses

It also keeps your engine electric's drier, I use to use it liberally inside my jet-ski engine compartment when I had one.

What does WD-40 Multi-Use Product do?

WD-40 Multi-Use Product fulfills five basic functions:
1. LUBRICATES: The product's lubricating ingredients are widely dispersed and tenaciously held to all moving parts.
2. PENETRATES: WD-40 Multi-Use Product loosens rust-to-metal bonds and frees stuck, frozen or rusted metal parts.
3. PROTECTS: The product protects metal surfaces with corrosion-resistant ingredients to shield against moisture and other corrosive elements.
4. REMOVES: WD-40 Multi-Use Product gets under dirt, grime and grease. Use it to remove gunk from tools, equipment and vehicles. WD-40 Multi-Use Product in liquid form (e.g., gallon) also dissolves adhesives, allowing easy removal of excess bonding material.
5. DISPLACES MOISTURE: Because it displaces moisture, WD-40 Multi-Use Product quickly dries out electrical systems to eliminate moisture-induced short circuits.

My emergency kit always has Duct tape and WD40

Yes I did! I was able to get Noribilt to TIG weld those suckers on. Sounds really good and very subtle!

That's great. I'd really like to hear how they sound. Been thinking about doing something similar to mine. Which specific Magnaflows did you use and did you change the tips?

To me that's just room for innovativeness ...

Now buying a newer year of the same model and not getting the good stuff from the old version is retarded ...

he has a newer SHAWD & has the tips of the older non SHAWD ...

MDX then came out with no tips
RDX then came out with no tips...
lastly, the RLX came out with no tips...

it isnt a surprise that the TLX would have no tips....

lol, no...he was surprised...as the prototype which came out two three months ago did not have tips.
an observant one would notice their full line up and apply the same design language and cues to the TLX.

Magnaflow 11225's and kept the stock tips. It has 1 inlet and 1 outlet.

Lets have a quick dinner and coffee or drinks meet sometime in the next 2 weeks.
How about next Thursday (May 1st) at the Hoffbrau at the Rim?

I still dont think beez is surprised & already expected it to be that way (no tips) since a good while back...only because he was interested in buying one...I'm not and I still know a lot about it... ...

Beez can you confirm my theory:

In the TLX prototype thread I'm pretty sure I mentioned that I didn't like that it had no tips like the RLX, 2-3 months ago

We're still deciding on locations, but the meet would be during the National AZ meet, so, the 6th, 7th, and 8th of June.

I'm thinking of a camping ground spot on Lake Travis. It is going to be hot in June, so why not BBQ, camping, fishing, and the lake? I'm trying to figure out the best camping spot on Travis. I've only been too Sandy Creek.
