I am feeling the blue tint on Mercedes Benz cars and was thinking about blue tint for my 3G. Does anyone have pictures with the blue tint. Does the blue disappear or lessen because of the tint already on the windows.

I've been down this road before. I researched many tint shops and online shops, made many phone calls to finally end up with a tint film Johnsons Window Film FB 50. It was a 50 % blue tint. When I had it on the car, depending on which angle the light hit, it looked blue. But then other times it looked like your average 50% black tint.

The blue was not exactly like the Benz tint. The Benz tint is sort of a sky blue. A very bright, but light shade of blue. The Johnsons Window Film was a deeper, darker blue. Not very noticeable, but you could tell up close that there was a hint of blue in the tint. I don't have any pictures, but the ones that I did take, you can't tell the difference between the blue tint or a smoke black tint in the pictures.

The shade of blue was not to my liking as I was looking for the exact Benz blue so I ripped off the tint. This was the only tint blue film I could find other than getting the actual glass itself tinted. I saw an advertisement in a magazine a few months ago where you could purchase the actual glass tinted in the Mercedes Benz blue but they only offered the front and rear windshield.

My advice to you, if you REALLY want the tint, trade your TL and get a Benz. It's very dificult to duplicate that shade of blue. However, if your still persistent to find it, good luck!!

Don't forget about the freakin moleskin... Other than that, hope you find what you are looking for... My opinion, Benzo tint on a TL? I think that would look pretty freakin sickkk... PEACE!

I had the Pacific Blue Xtreme on my old TSX side mirrors. Very much like the TL mirror tint, very light. It's 35%.
