Soon to be NEW/1ST ACURA OWNER
Whats up everyone. I just sold my 2009 zx6r kawasaki due to a daughter being added to my family and I was looking to get a car that would still be a family car and something i would enjoy at the sametime. I finally found a 07 Acura TL Type S with less than 50k miles so I am picking it up this friday. First Acura ive owned how are these TL cars? Reliable? I am super excited about the car I have always loved their styling (not a fan of the newer TL's) and cant wait to pick her up! Ill post pics once I pick the car up!

The 07/08 TLS is an extremely reliable car. As long as you found a good one it should be problem free.
Mannnn, I hate these threads where guys always have to say they got auto because their ladies will be driving it lol. I got what I wanted and that was manual. My lady has her own car and we have not been in a situation where my car needed to be automatic. Alright, its a good excuse i'll give you that! ;-D
So how did things work out when you had a Kawasaki ZX6R? hehe im only give you a hard time, im sure the Mustang is manual so autos are great for daily drivers.
Damn women! lol
Actually, in 07/08 the auto is more reliable than the 6mt anyway. 6mt guys gotta worry about 3rd gear issues which may or may not be fixed by the GM fluid change. Not only that but some guys get premature clutch failures at ridiculous low miles. Plus its not an easy manual to drive anyway. Infact, for the first time ever I stalled at a light today with my wife in the car and she laughed her ass off at me. I accidentally left it in 3rd and tried to start off from a light and killed it. oooops!

Good pickup! I think the 3rd gen TL is just a classic looking car and they will always age very well, like most Acuras do. You're going to love the Type-S and that power.
