Can you put an 06 accord transmission into a 06 TL? My tranny is shot for the second time after a rebuild the first time. Looking for a used unit to put in before i sell the car. The TL ones are hard to come by but there are a few accord ones out there.

Also is there any type of cooling unit on the 06 TL, the guy who was going to do my transmission said the cooler on the top of the tranny failed but when i called acura to get a part number to order they said this year has no cooling unit for the transmission. Is this guy out to lunch or is the part he talking about just called something else?

Dang, twice now? Really sorry to hear that, my 04 TL tranny has gone to chit, so I'd also like to know if you can use the accord one. I know a lot of guys on here were using it in the second gen tl's...

Yes 06-07 V6 accord will fit. You just need to swap one of the trans connector

I'm confused..is this the automatic transmission you're having trouble with? or 6mt? i know the automatic transmissions have a few problems.
