'07 TL S Tail Lights on '06 TL
Hey I just bought a used 2006 Acura TL and I'd like to install the 2007 Acura TL Type-S tail lights. From what I understand, the lights fit but there is some wiring issues? Is there an installation guide somewhere that walks through each step? Does anyone have any before & after pictures?
I am considering purchasing these lights

Thanks!

the rear bumper needs to be loosened a bit to where you can access some bolts for the tail lights.
this will be your biggest hurdle.
after that, un bolt the tail lights from the car.
when you have the tail lights off the car, you will see an LED board inside. unscrew the screws and take the LED board out.
now, place it into your brand new set of tails.
screw it in.
install tail lights onto rear of car.
tighten up bumper and you're good to go.

^ Its really not that difficult. I haven't seen a video on tail lights; you are going to have to search for that one if you can find one, but there is one for the rear bumper removal. The DIY link is straight forward. The only issue you may get is the led board as the plug is a bit tricky to remove the first time around.

I did this to my 2005 years back and like others have said, the hardest part is getting the bumper off even with the DIYs.
It was my favorite mod of all and was completely worth it. The next mod that you should do is to get the Type-S rear fender lights that are grey instead of red. If you leave the red in, it just looks off next to the grey on the tail lights.
