Question Gen 1 Acura TL HeaterCore/ A/CEvaporator / Blower problem

My Blower in shot. What is the best way to access and replace the blower motor. I've read your heater core problem and the another post to access and remove the blower motor from under the dash. I would like a recommendation on which is the best way to replace the blower motor. Do I get better access if i remove the dash or is access from below still the recomended way?

I have a similiar question to that by dawadz. The blower on my 98 3.2TL is going out. If I remove the dash and heater box, can I then remove the blower motor without having to discharge the AC?

Thanks!

Hi Guys,

i've come down to the step of taking the heater off. But it is still connected to the AC lines via some mysterious screws/bolts.

I've even removed the recirculation control motor, and the heater core cover. I can partially pull the heater core out, but it got stuck half way. It can not be taken out without taking the heater completely off.

Can anybody help me finding the bolts/screws?????????

THANKS.

Are these little hoses replaceable, or should I just tighten them?
Anyone has any Ideas?
Thanks

Hello, I'm in the middle of pulling the heater core assembly out of a 1996 Acura TL and could use the manual for the job. I already have the dash out but could use more info on how the dislodge the heater core/condenser housing unit.

Thanks a ton,

Graydon

You have to remove the fan control module. There are a few bolts (2 or 3 on each side of the condenser housing. Also there is a bolt deep close to the firewall that you have to take it off (pretty hard for me to get it). Then you can pull the hearter core out.

Good luck.
