I've seen the ones with the full size spare, and you lose about 1-2" of boot depth.

We do not get a full sized spared...

Hes saying, use the spare, then get the spare, and use it as a spare.

Confusing yes, but alltogether well said. =)

For our 05 and 06 with a full sized spare, yes. But it doesn't fit in our 04 (which is like yours)

I would replace 2 of them, and have them mounted on the front (driving) wheels.
If you are going to replace two tires then you need to put the new tires on the rear. This may sound strange but there have been many articles on this published in Motor Trend & Car & Driver. Without making this post 3 pages long check out this link from tirerack.com

Scratch that. You'll be able to fit the full sized tire into your space save storage area. But your boot liner will have a silly hump in it. I'm not sure if our AUDM 05-06 boot liners will fit in your TSX.

Nice link and a convincing arguement. I'll retract my prior suggestion about putting the new shoes up front , I was wrong!

I had this happen and was told that if I didn't replace it, the tire could blow on me at any time. Needless to say, I replaced it. I just put one new tire on, because I hate the OEM's and plan to buy rims+tires in the spring anyway once my bonus comes through from work. I hate you, Michelin MXM4.
