So I had to replace my upper manifold. I started the car and it was idling a bit high, so I thought I had I should do the relearn process. After I ran it to 3000 rpm for like 10-20 seconds, it shut off and now it's giving me these clicking sounds where the D and P are flashing. See here:


I hooked up an OBD code reader and it wasn't able to read anything, kept giving me error. Don't know where to start looking or diagnosing what the problem could be now? Any help would be much appreciated, it's my daily driver.

By upper manifold you mean the intake manifold? Vacuum leak issue?

Yes, intake manifold. The car started and ran for few minutes and then the above happened, would a vacuum leak cause everything to go haywire like that?

Hmm probably different than my problem?


My issue was the battery.

Check your battery connections. Check grounds you may have released/damaged during intake manifold removal.
