I tried chasing down an evap code for a month, changing parts one at a time. 500 later I brought it to the dealer. 350 later of diagnosing. They put back in the old canister shut valve and then it worked again
Moral of the story, sometimes it's cheaper to bring it to the dlr cause they needed to run all sorts of tests with their computers, multiple times to find the issue. And even still when I got it back a week later the code came back and they had to put back in that old part and then it worked, vs the brand new part. I'd never have solved that.

Thanks Tosh. Another evap code came on after some more miles P0452 Evap Pressure Sensor. Hoping that's the issue.
I ordered the fuel tank pressure sensor which will be here tomorrow. Will update this thread after install and some miles
