I been busy since 8am.
Waxed, tire shine, cleaned Betty's interior on SRX, adjusted exhaust mufflers, polished mufflers, fix inspire fog, fix aspec corner, fix lower fender liner diffuser, fix rear aspec lip (in the works), clean up exhaust tips and did laundry.
And...after 4 months of waiting on the Advan center caps. The wrong color shows up.
in addition, the date stamped on them shows they were made in July...so why the fk am I only receiving them now? I won't bad mouth them yet, but they better do right by me and give me a refund or the right product or there will be hell to pay.

The problem with my inspires is that a lot of times while driving they affect visibility because and all woman I drive by automatically throw their panties at my car and most of the time they land on the windshield. It's an epidemic. Same goes for Austin but it's mostly tighty whities.
Okay, so, first few pictures are dull because I had a coat of Wolfgang Deep Paint Sealant 3.0 baking on. After buying a flux welder and realizing that my car shouldn't be my first project, I visited 2 exhaust shops that turned me away. Last place I tried I was referred to by a guy at Advance Auto..."G Exhaust" on 441 and N of Griffin. Fair prices and the guy is very nice. His welder didn't LIKE the idea, but since I refused to lose my RV6 dual out mufflers, we had some custom work to do. Some may think it uncouth but it got the job done. 1 side routed to the tip, the other made into a dump. The tips I ordered from China would have been way too hard to make fit due to the center entry point, but he had ordered me a set of AMG tips that fit the bill perfectly. It's EXACTLY what I wanted. I did NOT want to give up and go Type S rear aspec and quad round. I wanted to remain true to the 04 Aspec and it was important to me not to change that at all...in addition, I recall walking into the dealership with my stepfather and seeing the bumper exit and exhaust tip were what REALLY started this love affair. Anyway, they're what I wanted, BASE exhaust tips on steroids...so now, I have a little performance, a lot of sexy sound AND FINALLY, I'm happy with how it looks. I spent a long year convincing myself that size doesn't matter and that I could make up for my tiny tips with excellent cunnilingus, but alas, once they were gone, I never looked back.
In addition, the freshly blacked out previously clear headlights are in and I couldn't be happier. Finally clamped to cool and added a generous bead of RTV along the top. I love how clean they look. Best part, I used plastidip so I can revert if necessary.
In other news, after 4 months waiting on my advan center caps...they arrive and are BLACK and not HYPERBLACK. At the price I paid, I want either what I ordered, or a refund. I'm beyond pissed, especially when I see that the manufacture date was mid July and they arrived Friday. WTF. Anyway...live to battle another day!

I liked the quads better. Your quads +painting the mufflers black =sex
Those tails look great though. Almost makes me want to do the same to a spare set I've got at the house to see how they look on WDP

Rockstar everytime you mod something i picture this happening to you lol. Im sure by now your fiance is just used to it. But im sure this gif is spot on for all the other members when we buy mods.

Hey, I appreciate the critique. Believe it or not, when they cut the old tips off and I came out and saw just the muffler, I breathed a sigh of relief knowing there was no going back. I came home and Betty and I looked at them and she was like, babe, I never said it but I did NOT like those tiny quads.

LOL...thanks, Steven...I kinda find it funny. From day one when I put the exhaust on, I got nothing but ridicule for the tiny tips. Now, they're gone and I get people saying they liked them better. Honestly, I don't...not one ounce. I am in LOVE with the new tips. They're exactly what I envisioned for the car.
I still have the 4 tips though...if/when I ever sell the RV6 I can include with the sale in case the person wants options.

oh i like the tips and the overall car, i didnt mean anything bad by it. I just said i picture this happening to you for some reason. Reading your thread she supports everything you do. I was just refering to some peoples other halves when they disagree with mods in general you know the " You did what" reactions lol.

I think the tips need to grow on me more....the tips kinda steal away from the overall look IMO....like those camaro body kits (http://www.body-kitz.com/contents/me...style-rear.jpg)

The new tips look great! I think the Base A-Spec looks best with factory style tips. The cutout is too small to fit a nice pair of quads in there. I'm glad I switched back to my OEM tips.

Totally agree, my friend.
Well, after giving the Audi love, and now my car...Betty's was due. Waxed wheels, Wolfgang paint sealant on hers too, and she did back to black equivalent to the bottom trim, oh and metal polish/sealant on exhaust tips for her. New wipers too...

dude, tips look great! wasnt too far from what I sent 
i think after folks see it for awhile they will grow to love it
I think it goes with the lines of your car better than the quads... however it does make it look less agressive... it looks civilized but when you hammer down you know it still hustles
