On a serious note...I don't think that's something I would post if it was MY forum.
I think there are factors that would impact who gets charged what. IE: someone selling stickers with the acura-cl.com name vs someone selling intakes or big ticket items. I'm sure there is consideration between someone making $5 on an item vs someone making $200 on an item, etc.
Why post figures & scare off potential advertisers? Best to leave the bosses in charge of their own $$$.

I've heard this about quite a few site owners, from AW to A-TL. I think it'd be beneficial to us all if there was a standard system that's out in the open so that vendors can go ahead and know ahead before they start posting, then inevitably getting their messages block, and being pissed off about everything. I know we've sent away quite a few vendors here and there that might have had good deals for us loyal forum junkies.

It's not that simple.... there is a huge spreadsheet with many, many variables involved to arrive at what it costs per month to advertise... and this is usually the case with many sites.
Trust me.. i've been down this road for CCC with many websites, and every site has their own formula... and not one of them makes it public. You have to make an effort to contact the site you're interested in advertising on, they send you their prices or a media kit, then you negotiate from there.
You're supposed to setup an account BEFORE you post anything for your business... not after. So if someone posts something and they don't have an agreement in place, it gets closed. This goes for any website. Don't believe me? Create a business like post on another site and see how quick it gets shut down. We're actually pretty liberal here as Soopa lets a lot go.
Since the pricing does have so many variables it means that different vendors usually have different pricing.... so to make the info public would cause problems there as well.
So, bottom line, since there's not a flat pricing schedule there's nothing to put out in the open. It's not a secret that you need to contact Soopa or Kavex for advertising, so anyone who is interested can contact them. So... any questions, shoot them an IM or PM .
I'm going to close this since it's not really a debatable issue... if you have other general advertising questions (not related to pricing), since you can't reply here feel free to PM me
