Gas Tank keeps loosening up
I have a 07 TL-S and a light keeps coming on to tighten the gas cap. All the time! I get out it feels loosened up and after I tighten it it's ok for a while. I also recently passed inspection so I don't think the gas cap is leaking. Any suggestion?? I was thinking of getting another gas cap?

you more then answered your own question, with getting a new one
the seal could potentually relax a little, then the cap vibrates off some...
first thing first though, when you fill up and tighten down the cap, do you make sure to click the cap a couple of times at least?

I have the same problem, 07 Type S I occasionally get a tighten gas cap image on the mid.
I noticed when I remove the gas cap I don't hear the fumes escape like I do on other cars.

This issue came about on my 07 TL Type S during the winter. I researched it heavily.
some I found that it actually was the solenoid.
Others, I found that driving in harsh/bumpy conditions cause this to go off.
When It happened to me, it was during a huge snow storm, and eventually went away never to return again.
In any event - I always make sure after I fuel up that I click the cap 3 times before shutting the lid.

answer to your probelm is purge control valve. my 2 friends + me have Acura tl-s 2007. We all had same problem. Change that valve and your problem is gone. Part in your car is made in Mexico, oem replacement in Japan.

I haven't found very many links to the actual part number.
Is this the part I should replace? http://www.oemacuraparts.com/acura/v...rdv-j01-acura/
