Thanks Kowloon! Sorry trying to sell the old enkeis as a set. But you might want to look into buying a brand new razr. I think they go for $200ish. Not bad. Good luck with the hunt. Gonna miss the razrs. They are great looking wheels for a great price.

Thanks Mr. NC. I concur.
I ran 3 different sets of wheels on the tein ss over the course of this month. The plushest set up was with oem wheels, obviously. Oddly tho, the axis wheels are on par or even cushier than the enkeis. This was weird, because usually, the bigger the rim, the harsher the ride. Which leads me to believe that your tire choice actually has a lot to do with ride quality as well. So you may want to throw that into your equation.
I'm not tucking tire. My fenders sit right on top of tires. No finger gap. Rears are lowered all the way down. The front still has some threads. Dampening is set to 1 in the front and 8 in the rears (zero being the stiffest). The ride is still comfortable. Probably because the dampening on my rears are setup pretty soft. I'm probably gonna stiffen them up just slightly in the rear. Stiffened the front because I was rubbing my fenders on speedbumps, since my front wheels poke slightly. Stiffening the dampening fixed my problem and I actually ended up kinda liking the stiffer dampening force, made the car feel more nimble.
Goodluck
Thanks. Yeah the chrome lips on aggressively fit rims are sexy.

So I saw your pic on another thread and I like the style you went with on the rims so I said to myself. I wonder what it would look like if?
I kinda like the white and the gold look

Damnit civicbdx! I was finally closing up my wallet and calling it a day for this car lol Now you got me thinking about powder coating.
I kinda like the gold too. Black aint bad, but then it would probably open up a whole other can of worms to black vinyl my roof. White might be a bit on the ghettofab side for me. Nice ps skills btw. I like how you got the reflection of the spokes on chrome lips right as well. Thanks.

The new wheels definitely look great. I'm a sucker for the gold wheels as I have them on mine, but it is definitely more taste specific. Silver just has more universal appeal as you mentioned.

That angle shows off the different finishes nicely. You can never go wrong with silver. The two finishes go great with the brushed grill/polished trim of the car.

I like it the way it is
after a year when you get bored of it or when its time to switch tires, get it powder coated to some other color

Nice car! I might "steal" your look because it looks so clean. But I'm not sure. I feel like after market wheels will make this car look less luxurious.

Thanks for the advice guys. The wheels are going to stay the way they are. I still like silver best. Maybe someday I'll do a hyper black finish to the mesh. Or gloss black lips and flat black mesh might be interesting.
Thanks spd. I must be doing something right that you would want to copy my setup. If you want to keep the oem look, try wheels with a more oem fit and finish like the ron jon revs in an 18x8 with a 38F/32R staggered offset. That was what I was thinking about doing before.

Thanks! Oem lip spoiler fitment is good. Although it does lift slightly on the front corner of one side. The gap is very small and is nothing that you can see unless you are inspecting it up close. I think the spoiler adds to the look of the car. When i first got it looked a bit awkward at certain angles. But after the drop and wheels i think it flows nicely with the look of the car.

Got bored. so decided to clutter this thread with more pics lol Nothing new. Nothing is really catching my eye at the moment. was thinking about getting the modulo kit, but it looks kinda awkward from the profile angle. It gives the car a giant ass and nose. But it does look sick from a straight on front view and back view. Wish the JDM type s kit was available in the states. Guess acura doesnt want to sell the SE kit painted like they did the modulo. Makes the SE less special i guess. lol The other thing i was looking at was 3500k hid fogs. but the problems i have been reading about are making me think twice.

Thanks. luckily only the rears had to be rolled. Fronts could have used a roll. But i didnt want to do more body work than necessary. Cant wait to see what you got in store for us once spring comes around. The ssr's you test fitted were straight bananas!
