Battery Hold-down Device ????
Is there something missing from my car that is supposed to hold the battery down good & tight?
I bought this 02 TLS back in June. Under the hood, there is a body-colored metal battery shelf which is bolted down. Then I have a black plastic battery box that just sits on top of the metal shelf-nothing actually holding it down except the weight of the battery.
Then the battery just sits loose inside the plastic box-no straps or clamps, etc. Is this right??? or is there something missing that holds the battery tight to keep it from bouncing around???

Thanks
Yeah, I'm missing some stuff. I looked on the exploded parts diagram at AcuraAutomotiveParts.com. I'm missing the J hook rods, top cross piece, and the top of the plastic box.
I see how it works now, the J hook rods go outside the plastic box. The 2 J hook rods are not alined straight across from each other, there is an offset that requires off-set top piece clamp. Maybe I can find some that will work at local place.
Do I really need that plastic box top piece for anything?
