There really is not much too it. It might seem like a big task but it really isnt once you step back and take it step by step.

Probably the first task at hand is try and get the post-cat 02 sensor removed. This will take some patience to get it out. Try some rust remove like PB blaster. If that doesnt work you might have to head it up and remove it.

After that all you have to do is take the bolts out that hold the exhaust together. I would start with the axle back first and work your way back. Most of the bolt will be rusted. Best bet may be a grinder to cut them off.

The exhaust system should have come with all new hardware.

It's a direct bolt on. No DIY needed.

CT is prolly the best quality header out there and gives good gains - and it is the stock length so it will bolt up to a Cat. Converter.
However, i like the PLM header - its a long tube and removes the Cat but if you can get away with it you will notice good gains without the converter.

its illegal in IL as well - but i still pass

I have a defouler on my o2 sensor so it tricks the computer. Its a big hassle though.

I think a lot of ppl use Weapon-R as well.

avoid the hassle get a cte, if you wanna swap every time theres an inspection, get weapon R with a Defouler. also a o2 bung extender for the front O2 sensor, as it might be a little tight on the cable when you re-route it .

really depends what kind of power your trying to get. if this is Daily driver then CTE will be just fine as your not going to be racing. this and a hondata reflash and youll feel great gains.

I also live in texas (north dallas). My buddy has a 07 Tsx that I put a PLM header in and deleted the cat. I installed a pair of spark plug defoulers on the rear O2 sensor. No check engine light, has passed inspection twice since.
If you are in the DFW area, I can help you get things installed
