Smile Cleaning black leather interior

I have an 05 TSX and was wondering what to use to cleanthe dashboards and leather seats? I was thinking warm water with a washcloth, but anyone else uses something different that makes it look new? I want to keep the smell of leather. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Woolite works well. Get a big jug for cheap and dilute it accordingly.

Oh thanks. I'll give that a try. I hear people condition their cars. Is it necessary?

I condition mine every two weeks. Just to keep the leather "healthy" and fresh. Helps to maintain future wrinkles and cracks

Check somewhere like autogeek.net, great selection, and you def need to condition the seats and other leather surfaces

I think conditioning the seats (or anything else) is way over stated. I had an 05 (bought new) for over 7 1/2 years, and never did anything to the grey interior except wash the windows and wipe it down with a damp towel once in awhile. Oh, and it lived outside. The driver's seat (the only one sat in regularly) looked fine and just has some nice patina. The other seats still looked new.

Meguiars is good enough, that's what I use.

It depends where you live too. If you live in a cold climate place, you DEFINITELY want to condition more frequently than someone who lives somewhere warm and humid. That being said, I still condition at least once a month.

I have been using Mequiars clean and condition wipes. They work fine, but there is a slippery feel right after you apply.

Lexol is a good one, but i prefer Liquid Leather (English company)

Here's the problem, over here, Gliptone is a company, they sell car products, including leather care stuff. Their logo is practically the same and even their product codes are very similar, but the stuff isn't.

Gliptone Leather Care | Leather Cleaner is the actual company, you can see their history on the pre-historic website. They clearly are not web entrepreneurs, but the leather stuff is second to none in my opinion. All my leather car seats for the last 15 years have been done with this stuff and my Father for all his cars prior to that! Fortunately they ship to the states which was handy after i moved here.

Anyway, that's my preference, so long as you use a PH neutral water based conditioner, you should be good to go.
Now excuse me whilst i go and do the TSX seats again, that smell is addicting
