'04 TL Specs

Here's a link to the Acura site for the TL specs:

http://www.acura.ca/AcuraMicrosEng/TL/Specifications

Looks like a sweet unit. I see they give us traction control and VSA with the manual package (and they ditched those shitty Michelin tires.....)

Sorry, it was from the Canadian website (I couldn't find the sheet on the US one). Anyways, 29 MPG (US) = 35 MPG (UK).

I was impressed by the tires, and that they offer the Brembo brake package.

My favorite part: Climate control senses thermal loading from the sun, and adjusts the dual zone climate control to compensate for it. Now that's sweet!

Wonder if the supercharger and the headers from Comptech will fit. With minor modifications that would be sweet.

Nope and nope. Well, definitely not for the headers anyway. Our resident Acura tech, Jens, stated that Acura used a totally different, closed design for the headers, so there's even a possibility that Comptech won't ever make headers for it b/c they won't be able to....

Usually they rate it in some stupid litres/100 km..... But when doing a MPG, a US gallon is 1.2X bigger than a UK one.....

That's awesome! Because, without the navi, then you can't get the 3-d solar compensation package!

(Just justifying why I can't dump my 6 speed cl on a 6 speed tl.

I think the headers are more integrated with the engine now.. so their actually consealed within the engine. I'll have to find the post from Jens....

The Dual Cat's mount directly to the head (which I think gets them to ULEV) so Comptech says that they will only be able to do exhaust to get some HP. My guess is that our motors (w/ mods) will still out perform the 2004 motors (w/ mods).
