I purchased my 05 NBP, NON NAVI, BONE STOCK, 5AT (yes I know why did I do such a thing) TL In 2008. Unfortunately I do not have any pictures from the day of my purchase -_-
Less then 24 hours of ownership I tinted the entire car 5%. I had no idea about acurazine and failed to get mol skin. I ended up retinting my car 2 more times over the span of a year with mol skin. So I had 5% at first...went to 20% and decided 35% was the right one for me lol. I soon discovered acurazine and then well it just ate my wallet.

The first mod I did to my car was install the AEM V2 intake. Loved the sound and it felt like I had just gained 400WHP. I also added the viper 5701 automatic starter/ security system (proved to come out real handy during the winter)


Next I had a spare headlight that I had purchased because I wanted to practice modding it but never ended up doing so. I put it up on acurazine for sale and then acktl05 contacted me about the headlight. This is before he became a well known vendor on this site and I believe I was definitely one of his first 5 customers. He gave me an offer that I couldn’t pass up and I traded the headlight for these custom tails he made for me. (At that time the only other person to have this exact design was Bruce himself)






What I disliked most about the 05 TL was that there were no lower fogs. I was talking to Bruce about how I really want them and he told me how he was in the process of doing some custom work to get some fogs on his car. As soon as he was able to finish the project on his car I got the fogs installed on my car with 10000K HIDS -_- (RICE)
I also purchased the front aspec kit


Next I bought the XLR8 V1 base resonated exhaust along with the rear aspec lip. This thing was retarded loud and the drone was killing me


Had to purchase the aspec side skirts afterwards and also nightshaded all 4 of my sidemarkers



The I put on the third Brake light Vinyl and vinyled my grille (I ended up removing all the vinyl from my car). I also purchased the iSimple at this time.



Before I lost my hearing I changed out my exhaust to comptech. This is by far the quietest exhaust ever but if you step on it you can get some attention lol



Then my friend and I opened up the headlights blacked them out and installed orion V2 Halos along with ZWR’s



The glare was blinding oncoming traffic from my HID fogs so I sent my fogs to HID ILLUSIONZ to get maxima projectors retrofitted in them and also had them black out the fog light housing to match my headlights. The cutoff line on these things is insane




I then replaced the front amber side markers with white leds and got rid of the nightshaded sidemarkers. Also replaced the rear ones with Type S sidemarkers.





I had the intake and the exhaust so def needed to get the RV6 V3 J pipe.


Got quite jealous of all those 3g owners driving around with factory navis. My interior just felt naked and cheap. Decided to finally drop a good chunk of change and go ahead with the conversion. (MY FAV MOD to this date). Heres Martin ripping out my entire interior and doing the conversion in the parking lot of pepboys -_-

Had my friend (owner of MP BUILT) install the coils



While the back seat was out I took this opportunity to take off that plastic casing and flip my sub towards the car






GOT TIRED OF THE COMPTECH and BASE aspec lip went for the type S conversion. Bruce again hooked it up. (This guy has done countless things for me at a great price)






ORDERED THE XLR8 V2 RESONATED QUADS

Next up the Ebay ROOF SPOILER (eventually going to toss this thing and get an ATLP V2 Roof spoiler)





Talk about condensation…this was happening on a daily basis. Decided to buy type S headlights and ballasts. Painted them flat black with ZKW’R and bforbrian soldered the turn signal wires and hooked up the blinkers











That’s all I have so far. I got tired of studying so I decided to make this thread lol. After august 18 there will be many new mods coming up.

FUTURE MODIFICATIONS

1) My rims will be arriving at the end of august. (Don’t give me shit lol I already lost too much money couldn’t afford REAL rims yet those will come after the winter time). For now these will do I chose them in chromium black
XXR 527 18x8.75 FRONTS +20
XXR 527 18x9.75 REARS +20



2) My USR pedals will be arriving shortly

3) Doing a BBK conversion next month HOPEFULLY

4) THIS IS NO JOKE I am currently doing the research on how to put a portable hookah inside my car. Something about this size

Haha I've already found a few of them that fit inside the cup holder. They have a casing on top too so the car wont have coal and ash flying around

you know who was motivation for my car..ballinfizzle I think he rarely comes on the site now. But the day i bought my car i looked up some mods and i kept seeing this car with a license plate that had the same last name as mine haha. He had a quad exhaust, aspec kit and crazy ass rims.

Try Grapemint best flavor every and you dont get tired of it. I dont do starbuzz anymore because economically it doesnt make sense for me I go through too many boxes to be constantly buying $20 boxes lol.

As for as the yellow overlays...not my style. I dont like any exterior vinyl on my car lol and not a fan of yellow lighting. It does look good on wdp tho
