This is a sporadic problem that seems to be happening more frequent now.

I will go to my car (often after work) and open the trunk to place my laptop bag in the trunk before entering the car. Shortly afterward (and before I unlock/open the doors) the car alarm triggers? This doesn't happen all the time. I'm now unlocking the doors before opening the trunk which seems to be helping.

Anyone have the same problem? I started noticing this about 6 months ago and have had the same routine for over 5 years with no issues before.

I think the trunk sensor might toggle up-down-up to cause this problem. I'm now unlocking the doors before opening trunk, so the order of buttons I push is now reversed.

I thought I would ask- not a big deal but definitely a performance regression. Perhaps the trunk spring got weaker?
