No I really did see the video before, and first time really loved the way someone else drove a car.
Ohhh lying about pictures being perfect? Of course
They look like shit
Seriously though, last time I said, as time goes on, these pictures get way way better... I will say that again.
Also,
This last batch really pulled my attention. So many good details and different points.
You usually take one set of pictures, I mean pictures inside the batch of the day look a like.
This time point of view has been expanded. Was waiting for an at least one picture of the orange lights for example and there it is....
Edit: Yup I am positive on that^
I think that's why I really loved this batch. Many different views and angles and lighting also...close up shots are nice too
Love all

LOL, thanks, Meko. I have been trying to be a bit more critical of taking different angles and just posting ONE that defines that look and not every single one.
Stay warm and safe, buddy. We're in the 70's today, hot tub time.

pull and spray is where its at
WOW I didnt know they allowed people on the 'ring without a helmet in a roofless car...damn....
but the S2000 sounds sooo good....and revs to the effin sky....
do have plans on any power mods? have you been thinking of headers or exhaust or a tune (maybe a SC or Turbo)?
#368
Well, supposedly there's only one tuning option for an 04 ECU, 06's have more flexibility. As it stands I have the FPIK AEM intake and the test pipe for the exhaust. From what I've gathered and read the OEM headers are actually designed and flow REALLY well and don't need to be touched. Exhaust, maybe, but it would have to have the right look and sound and cost. Maybe down the line...
Long term goal would be to eventually make it a reliable, low boost, stock internals turbo car. But TBH, I can already get myself in enough trouble with it the way it sits. It's quick, but not fast...IIRC your explanation of it.

that is a great plan...
well you dont need much power to move a light weight car, but the S2000 is a platform where it puts the power down really really well....I think you will be happy with the plan you have....
I think in stock form the headers flow very well but if you thining of a turbo, you might be looking into a different header setup...
my suggestion will be to make sure if you are going FI and if thats a possibility, just do the headers and exhaust at that point....that way you dont have to go between many setups...
but yeah I am sure with the spirited driving, you will be getting into more trouble LOL....those things are little energizer bunny rockets LOL

Whats up with RDX owners?

Vortech kit seems to be reliable, especially with the aftercooler.

If you going to do something like this with that S2K, add a turbo
If not, just add an exhaust and leave it

^See, no end
You either go broke with that car, or enjoy it as it is
I say as it is because hitting that car to its limit is what's fun
Unlike buying an expensive 400hp car and getting scared to hit it to the limits every second of driving it

I despise TE's...I think they're ugly
For now, I love the oem look...I'm currently cleaning up the oem calipers/rotors since they perform well and are just a bit rusty. Figured I'd get some wax on the wheels too.
plus, factory wheels are enkei and the fronts weigh 37.5 lbs

Damn, I forgot how to clean the rims
Because it's been so long since summer has gone!!!!
I like TE's on TL... as long as it's lighter than my OEMS, I am good

I'm not sure, man...we should get another one going soon though. Your paint dry yet?
Spent a solid 9 hours on the car this weekend. Removed rusty rotors, wire brushed, sanded and painted with high temp caliper paint. Also waxed the rims, and cleaned up the brake pads and re-lubed everything. This car was originally from up North so the rotor screws were rusty. I managed to to remove the rear ones pretty easily, but the fronts were gone...had to drill them out and retap...then put anti seize and new screws. Good as new!

One word... sexy
Always a good weather
You painted the rotor's surface too? That's ok?
Why you no get CF piece for the intake that grabs air from the lower opening to the filter..

Thank you everyone...
yeah, it's a labor of love, I absolutely DREAD doing it but after doing a half azzed job on the TL, I knew I had to remove everything, lube everything, brush and sand everything first. Came out decently, I think.
Meko, I taped off last time and it didn't make a difference, then realized you can just paint it all and when you brake hard a few times, it cleans off the paint on it's own.
J.
Gary, that's 2 post mid life boners on my account. Call me some time!

Great work, J! It's the little things.
That didn't become a dick joke till I typed snicker.
Car looks super clean and I'm surprised you got to take the S2K out, we got rain on and off here, no way I would have taken it out this last weekend.
