Thanks boys!

Another update: The new steering wheel is in the United States at Customs at JFK Airport. Apsis USA should be able to get it on Monday or Tuesday next week. He will ship it to me ASAP. I'm hoping to have the wheel one week from today.

The steering wheel has cleared Customs. It has shipped and will arrive on Thursday. It will be installed on Friday-just in time for Fast Fridays.

Steven, I was admiring your car and, in regards to post #943, is that a "Remove Before Flight" flag on the key fob? If so, that is most appropriate!

Anyway I've always wanted a 'Vette and the new C7 is absolutely gorgeous. I was going to say "enjoy"... but how could you not?

Thanks ReLaX! You are correct-as Jeremy said, it does have a "Remove Before Flight" tag on the key fob. Yes, it is appropriate too. This thing is a joy and a pleasure every time I get to drive it!

Here is a picture of the finished wheel. This is what it will look like when it's installed (minus the Carbon Fiber inner bezel).

I didn't order the bezel yet-the steering wheel cost more than enough.....

Sat in a new C7 convertible this morning. Sweet car. At first I was like, how do I get into this thing? Kind of a tight squeeze but I fit fine with the seat all the way back. The interior is nice. Loved the push button doors and cubby behind the nav screen. Bet it's a blast to drive.

Matt, if you're tall, it could be a challenge to get in and out of the Stingray. I'm 5'9", so it's not an issue.

This C7 is full of little bells & whistles that make it great. Chevrolet did their homework on this one. They crossed every "T" and dotted every "I".

I'm 6'1" and it was a tight fit when I got in a Stingray a couple weeks ago at the Glen. I didn't fiddle with the seats but I would be disappointed if I couldn't fit.

I'm 6'3" and it was very snug with the seat all the way back. I fit in a BRZ way better.

Looks great and I kind of like it without the bezel, while I love carbon it maybe getting close to overload.

I agree-my goal was to mod this Stingray aggressively, but tastefully done as well. Too much is too much-even if it's Carbon Fiber.

A little better shot of the driver's side window switch in Carbon Fiber.
