motor sound?

motor sound?

i noticed that my cl is making mortor spinning sound somewhat like supercharger spooling sound after my tune up. and no, i dont have supercharger

it happens whenever i step on the gas pedal in gears. i assume it could be my alternator??

any ideas??

its a posibility. check your belts. anything loose?

wow coincidence, my CL is making the exact same noise as you described. =/ i think its the belts... im going to change the serpentine and a/c belt. maybe its that. *shrugs* could you please lmk what yours turns out to be? tia!

i think its a pretty normal noise, i had this noise happen after the dealership changed my belts, and my friend's accord sounds the same.

I had this problem. It was only when using my AC. It was my compressor going bad for my ac.

check your belt tension. i noticed that if the p/s belt is too tight the pump will start to make a noise like what you're hearing. it usually only happens on the p/s pumps with smaller pullies (civic, integras, etc) but it happens. i'd have to say belt tension.
also, just make sure whoever did your tune up didn't leave anything off or loose.
if it only happened after your tune up then it has to be something that was touched.

ahh, yeah my a/c compressor has a small leak in it. bleh. well, just order a shit load of maintenance parts (a/c compressor,dryer,coil,and belts). i'll see how that goes. =(
