Great car. For me it looks like you can put maybe 5 or 10mm Spacers in the back.

Couldnt agree more. I think a 5mm in the back would really set it off and complete the look without creating major rubbing issues. I think a 10mm may rub unless i throw some negative camber into the mix. I've almost hit the "buy it" button on some ichibas more times than i can remember now. But when i start reading about the safety and premature wear and tear issues, i stay away. Once i burn out the rear tires, i may just go with some wider tires to achieve the meaty flush look. my 255/35s are a slight stretch.

yea they definitely arent cheap. its about $200-250 range for a decent 255/35. Thats why you dont see me running -3 deg of camber. Gotta get the most outta these things.

I never had problems with my H&R spacers. I got 20mm each side with 8,5x 19 offset 40 wheels on my Accord, TSX. On my Prelude I hav 30mm one side. And I race my cars on curved streets and on the Autobahn. If you take 5mm you dont have to mount longer bolts, with 10mm you need longer bolts.

Tried taking some night shots. Emphasis on tried. lol I think i need to put the timer on next time to avoid the vibration caused by hitting the trigger button. =/ lovin my new polarized filter though. Spacers are going in on the rears soon. Got some 5mm H&Rs sitting next to me right now.

Not wanting to sound biased.. But I think the 2G TSX is Honda's best looking sedan to date. Just look at that sculpted rear

I agree. The ass on this car is part of what sold me. And the two little points of the spoiler are like the tsx's back dimples. a key feature to any great ass. lol

Thanks Swoosh! I dont know. It's not in the cards for now. Trying to keep the look as clean and simple as possible. But blacked out roofs do look sexy. Next mod is going to be some spacers for the rear wheels to nail down the stance.

Thanks! Yeah the mudflaps do a lot for this car. Makes the body look wider and lower.

since you are pretty low, does it bottom out or scrap when you go over bumps with mugguards on?

Thanks. Although nothing much has changed lately. Just been practicing shooting it. I've got my fingers crossed that these 5mm spacers will fill out the rears nicely.

Thanks. I think your car looks great at the height its at. Plus, any lower and you'd start ripping off your custom lip kit. =/

Nope. mudflaps have never touched. Worried about the same thing when i lowered the car more after switching to the pentagons. The only thing that lightly scrapes are the flaps in front of the wheels. I can actually head into speed bumps straight on and not scrape (knock on wood). I've gone up against some pretty beefy speed bumps too (with 3 passengers). You just gotta go slow and be careful. It probably helps that my front dampers are set to full stiff.

factory installed. i recommend drilling for it. given its location, you would want a strong connection to rely on.

Car looks good dropped! And nice photos, don't get telephoto lens unless your shooting sports/wild. I would get a ultra wide angle or upgrade to a better walk around lens. You shooting with Canon right? Canon 15-85mm is really sharp and is versatile.

Thanks man! Means a lot. Much appreciated. I guess everyone really does have a different eye for these things. I was thinking photo #3 was the weakest because it looks almost over exposed. I shot that one with a very low shutter speed to experiment.

Thanks slickooz! yea just shooting with the canon 15-85 kit lens with a hoya polarized filter. Looking to upgrade as I get better. Dont want to be the noob with really expensive equipment I dont know how to use. lol You got a recommendation on a good beginner wide angle? The photos in your thread are beatiful btw!

The kit lens is 18-55, good beginner lens. The 15-85mm is a bit wider and longer, better build and has a metal mount. It is very sharp and can also do macro shots. The lens is about 650-700 new and can find one for around 550 used.

Depend on what you like to shoot, Canon has a great 10-22mm, Tokina also makes a good one. I would also add a prime lens in your set up, you can get a Canon 50mm 1.8 for real cheap. It's around 100ish and you will get amazing bokeh for portraits.

Did you use any PP for these photos? This one came out AMAZING!!

wow. Looked up the prices on the canon 15-85. Guess you got to pay to play in the camera world too. Actually you might have to pay more. haha. Yea sorry, i have a 18-55 not the 15-85. That photo was actually taken with my old cheapy point and shoot lol. I guess I just got really lucky with that one. Storm clouds were rolling in and I guess it created just the right level of lighting. =/

well had some time to jack up the car today and test fit the 5mm spacers. The spacers ended up covering up the hubcentric lip completely. Did not feel comfortable installing them like that. Some may argue that it is completely fine, but I prefer not to chance things. I think scooterb84 ran H&R 5mm spacers with no problems.

I'm thinking I will have to run a 10mm instead. The 10mm spacers actually come with extended hub lips. But a 10 mm spacer will require me running more neg camber. Probably -2.5 to -3. Probably just going to give up and get new rims. lol

Anyone in central FL wanna pick up some brand new 5mm H&R spacers and extended studs for cheap? $40 bux??

I've thought about that. But I'm not sure I 100% like it. Looks great from the front. But from the profile it looks ehh. I'm thinking about either getting the jdm type s front lip or doing a 2012 se conversion.

I saw a slammed pwp cl9 with some gunmetal advan rs wheels today in Lakeland. It was stunning. Its not often you see a truly well done car. Might try some racier looking wheels next go around.

10mm difference

Havent updated in a while. Got my 10mm spacers on in the back. Went with Ichiba v1s. really liking the results. I can see my wheels rolling when looking back through my side mirrors now. lol
