A long needed update. I've only bought two items since the last update.
Ghost taillight mod, Thanks to Rich at HID Illusionz (who also did my foglights) and Jons Tinted Tails for tinting the clear lenses. Can't wait to get them on my car.
RV-6 J pipe. I still need to get pics of it on the car.

The headlights were actually pretty easy. You just have to get passed the fear your going to mess them up. This is my second pair of headlights doing myself so I knew what to expect doing these ones. Just make sure you seal them up really well, I bought OEM headlight sealent that seems to be working really well, haven't had any leaks. Also I bought some clamps to squeeze them shut till the butyl hardend.

Oops I forgot to post pics here. I'll get some up today and tomorrow.
nate where are the pics!!
Their coming!
The headlights I've done myself, so the cost of materials were. $65 for the ZKW lenses, $10 for paint, $30 for sealent.
I'll get some up soon
The headlight are pretty easy to do. Just have to get over the fear of melting them in the oven lol. I just opened them again yesterday actually. Here's the website for the sealant: http://www.mynismo.com/products/?id=5577

Nope not yet. The car is put away for the winter so, I've taking the panels of and cleaning under those. I plan on painting the calipers black and hopefully getting my suspension by summer. I've been laid of as of a few weeks ago so money is tight.
Actually now that I think of it I did add something. I installed the Cold Cathode license plate light. I'll take some pictures soon.

Still here. Mods are coming but slowly.
I need to add pics of the RV6 V-3
CCFL License plate mod
ATLP Base exhaust.
Next thing I'm looking into is HID reverse lights with tailgater switch. This will come in very handy, I seem to have people riding my ass alot lately. I just hope I don't do this to a cop reading my plates lol.
The wheels are no longer on the car, or the Taillights.
The wheels are being replaced with a set, still trying to decide what to get, and the taillights need to be fixed.

Damn you took the tails off? They looked great!
I'm in for pics of the new stuff, especially that sexy ATLP Base exhaust
You really need to get the A-Spec kit on there. It changes the whole look of the car. Do it.

As of right now, I'm actually de-modding my car at the moment. My financial priorities are now looking to buy a house so the modding has come to a hault
Here's a vid of the ATLP and RV6 V3 at launch. The V3 has given a little to much rasp for me so I've sold that. (I don't know how to embed)

Finally an update. Seems like I've been taking things off the car faster than things going onto it.
AEM V2 intake is gone back to stock
RV6 V3 is gone back to stock
Taillights back to stock, Haven't had goodluck in this catagory, anything I buy doesn't fit. Got taillights through ACK didn't fit, the black taillights didn't fit. Saving up for OEM Type-S then customizing since those should fit better than DEPO.
Currently working on the headlights. Replaced the slope style shield, with the 04 step shield and real ZKW lenses.
Also upgraded the HID bulbs with Osram 66240 CBI's. These bulbs are much brighter than the Philips 85122+'s and have a nice clean pure white ouput.

While I'm working on the headlights, I picked up on the Plasti Dip craze and painted the grille with Plasti Dip.

Aren't the 85122+s also at 3400lumens? Or was it a little less?
If they are about the same lumens, the CBIs should look brighter given it's 5000k versus 4350K or whatever the 85122+s are.
Maybe I'll buy a pair when I make new headlights as well.
Love how clean your TL is in the snow.

Thanks, I acTually went through a car was before which I think resulted in a bad ballast. Took that out and there was water coming out of the ballast, not sure how that happened.

I believe after initial break in the 22+ are around 3100 I'd want to say but not positive. People who have been running the CBI's are saying they've been getting brighter after 5-10 hours of use. In the thread I provided above are comparison shots of the width of the CBI's and the 22+ and the CBI's are much brighter on the sides.

I didn't entirely trust the S2K reference photos... but after reading 1/3 of the thread it seems that the CBIs definitely do appear to be much brighter. Very costly it seems though.
Don't want to stray apart from your thread so I'll just stop there hahah.

The V3 didn't mix well with the ATLP exhaust it was extremely raspy. I'll look for the ATLP V2 this summer. The intake didn't seem very beneficial for the price so I sold that. Kind of like the sound of the stock. I can actually here the exhaust lol.
