Exclamation AT Questions/issue

I am pretty sure I have seen a thread that covered what I am about to ask, but I cannot seem to find it… Lately my 1st to 2nd AT has been filling very rough at points, and hard downshifts sometimes the best way I can describe would be “I feel like I am getting jolted forward and or backwards”. I am 4k from 60k on my 08 TLS. The thread I was seeking had to do with the pressure switches…

I can’t be 100% sure but I believe the “Jolting” effect I am feeling happens on 2nd to 3rd as well as 3rd to 4th… “More so when the car is down shifting” Just doesn’t feel SMOOTH anymore… My big question is “Which pressure switches should I replace first or do all? Then my 2nd big question is, is this something I can do at home? Any DIY’s or tips?

Also, I will need swap out my trans oil, I know everyone has their preferences, but in terms of reliability / performance / another 50 – 60k miles. What type of Trans oil should I grab?

Thanks in advanced gents!

here is the DIY for the switches.

here is the DIY for the ATF/ratio

and yes you can do both of these yourself with the right tools.

In that DIY you posted I see you answered someones question on parts used. Is this all the switches?

2 3rd gear sensors
1 4th gear sensor
3 replacement gaskets
